My own? I am still debating on whether I should DX8 or DX7.

@MrMiguu:

> Well there are databases of DX8 modules that have premade subs to make adding textures for 2d graphics within DX8 simple. I think I'll just go with DX7 for the sake of simplicity.

Someday Robin said that a lot of people didnt know basic DD7 stuff and how the hell you guys would know 3d stuff.Go with dd7.

Lol. You make it sound like you'll never reach that level of comprehension. Honestly, if I can learn it, so can you.

I will go with DD7 because there are rules that I am sure would annoy non-coders when DX8 is used (every file for images must be a power of 2).

[NEWS]
Since I got a decent laptop for christmas, I will start coding on it. Already setup VB6 Enterprise and the mouse wheel add-in. I will start using my site as means to collect my source code from my main host computer (sort of like an SVN, except not like an SVN).

lolno. I said that people were struggling using dynamic sprites and the like so they'd stand no chance with restrictions regarding NPOT textures. Once you've got the core engine done and you've made it modular enough it's just as easy as using DD7.

> It's not a _challenge_. I've already done DX8 before. The problem is that the users of the engine will douse me with 1000 questions on why things won't work or look funny to them.

+ the users of the normal dx7 engine will have enough problems even without transparency & stuff

That should be easy. If that is worrying you so much, what you can do is ignore all the stupid questions. Or the questions that you do not need to answer.

Mr migu first like to tell you that Project vertigo is an excellent motor,
but because the "project vertigo origins" has no system of arrows?

and mainly because it has no spells that follow to the target
I realized that the spells are direct and appear suddenly in the target?

Thanks =)

I didn't program the spell system. I didn't program Origins. I am programming the new PV from **scratch**; meaning it will have systems appropriate for psuedo-side scrollers.
