  1. Neato-neato-neato-KAbleato! I loooove siiiiiide scrrrrrollers.
  2. > VB6 > C# ~~Spot-on~~ Right-on(?) with this statement. VB6 has more substantial longevity than C# for a reason. Same goes for VB6 vs VB.NET. I have nothing against those languages though and would be more than happy to code in them (and I have). The only Visual-language I have things against would be VC++. But that's mostly because it's C++ and the .NET framework. **edit:** I don't mean to start/continue a whole argument about which language is superior than the other. I just know that we all can't help how long VB6 has been around merely because of the requests from its user base.
  3. Good point, Seal. Forgot about Spiral Knights! That's an excellent counter-example.
  4. The L holding the phone made me die from laughter. His eyes are hilariously goofy. It's not you so much as it's just a coincidence.
  5. @CMFiend420 If you can do it, man, do it! You were probably already aware of the browser's inferior processing anyways, so nothing I'm telling you is really all that new.
  6. It's so funny– I was searching for "Pokemon Blue Online" on Google and saw this. I thought it was something that had happened a few years ago. I had no clue it's been going on... It's hilarious!
  7. @CMFiend420 Because the browser's ability to process things is innately inferior to that of your end user's operating system. So things may come up as choppy (it depends, though) on their end. That would bring down the quality of any game's overall feel to that of "poor quality."
  8. I get a certain feel from these trees. Obviously they feel flat, but I like it. It's like they're supposed to be a prop for the ground you're walking on, as opposed to a tree with depth implied by a background parallax.
  9. @Kusy You're just jealous! Haha.
  10. @Kusy Contribution to a topic is contribution. It's not necessarily your "idea" of what contribution should be. I don't like any of your criticisms of his tiles either. I think you're way off on this one.
  11. WOW! I can't believe I posted the same thing _two_ _times _in a row.
  12. WOW! That is _really_ nice, Andiii. Some of your most natural, intuitive work yet. Your could teach me a thing or two about proper pixeling.
  13. It's odd that someone would come around and shed some light on this kind of feature out of the clear blue. Especially since you've never really heard of Vertigo (let alone looked at its source). It took years for this to happen, and before you it was someone else, and before them it was me. Before me it wasn't really anyone (everyone used to just care about SadScript, not source edits– you can thank Robin for that change in mindset). Nice work!
  14. > would be better if this have a custom features like when you fall into not blocked and not platformed area.. you'll die That's called a kill tile… you just set it to max damage.
  15. > It just might happen that we convert to a java engine ^^ Be careful, since browser-based mmos usually mean _poor_ quality. I'm not saying that this will be, but I'd think the main benefit of Java would be so people don't have to deal with registering library files, to make the game more accessible that way.
  16. What happened to the FPS? It went from 1k to 2xx…
  17. That sand area is dope! It's a shame Fabzy won't be around (for 2 months-ish) to pixel for you anymore.
  18. It looks like you've got an auto-tile system setup there. Is this true?
  19. Here's PVO's template (I was asked to make one for Prince Spiral): S = Standing W = Walking R = Running A = Attacking J = Jumping F = Falling ![](http://mrmiguu.com/pv/charsprite_template.png)
  20. I like the Final Fantasy Adventure-style interface at the bottom of the screen. I hope the engine isn't giving you too much trouble!
  21. That map is genius, moronsnail… So genius that I'm saving it, archiving it, and will never forget it.
  22. I love the almost-iso perspective. The only issue with me is the obviously-patterned background.
  23. What's this "socket" system you're talking about, CM?

    Noob Pixel

    > The grass is blurry, but might be because of uploading it in JPG format :| > > Go ahead and show us only the "pixel art" not the game gui and stuff, in PNG format, this time, please. Go easy on him, m8…
