> heh cool. noticed a bug stayed in from EE2.7(but I thought you completely rewrote the engine).

If there's the same problem in EE and EO it means that it was a problem in the original Mirage Source that was never fixed. The Map Properties system is one of the only things left from the original 3.0.3 source. I'll look in to it.

Oh, and I fixed the problem with the client erroring when you unlock a computer. Well, it's a generic system which tests the cooperative level and re-inits DD7 if it's anything other than okay. Should work as a 'catch all' system for any display changes and the like.

Example to others. Robin can remember that I asked about a different issue and replied about it days later. He does pay attention to suggestions and reports if done properly.
So quit your whining about every little thing over and over.

This bug is from not initializing the data, it loads it on form_load, simply made it its own sub in editors and call it everytime the form is opened up. Make sure the maxes are left in form_load though.

@Raiko:

> I think we have to wait like another year for the fixd version.

The new versions are worth the wait, the little things that are broke can be fixed relatively easy. He's not going to have such a bad break that only he can fix it, try to have a better attitude. He is maintaining this, he could quit it whenever he wants.

This is great, love the new engine Robin. I think the drops not working have been mentioned already but in attributes. The door attribute once you set the coordinates and then place it on a tile. The client will crash. Not sure if this was addressed or not. Also I can confirm that the map editor keeps a record of all previous map data. So for adding NPC's it can get rather annoying since all NPC data is transferred over to the new map and you need to edit or remove them all.

Aside from that I am just curious. Is there any plans on adding an ISO based option for maps and character movements? This engine would be perfect for us if it did.

Here are a few pictures of our work and why we could use it.

If you add ISO we would love you forever :)

Listen, if Robin wants to wait 1 year until the release of the new version, he will. He can and you can't stop him. Everyone is complaining and asking Robin favors. He's doing this all for free. He has a life you know. So if people like you stopped complaining and annoying him maybe he would finish faster. It's his choice whether he wants to even release a new version or not, so back off. And if your such a smart @ss then why don't you open the source and fix everything yourself.

I must say, I love mostly all of that art work!
Well done.

@Devo:

> There are several engines those sprites will work in, VBgore would be one of them yep.

VBGore does 8 directions. And not being a coder and knowing very little I have no idea how to alter it to use 4 directions only. Yes it's capable but not without some edits. That I can't do. Anyway I think we are swaying a bit off topic.

Why does this look like a cheap Endless-Online remake?
