Growlith1223
Hey guys, im working on a C++ DirectX10 dll wrapper type of dll and i've got it working pretty well but i want to see how well it runs on other systems![https://www.dropbox.com/s/q0kn9hgslzvlli…4.zip?dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/s/q0kn9hgslzvllik/DirectX%2010%20V4.zip?dl=0)Here is a link to the DL, i can't guarantee it won't work for you but if it does, i'd love to know what fps you get!(Window title you can find the fps, or fraps.)**Scores**Sephiroth976 - **5600 - 5800**Benjo - **~7000**JCSnider - **~9000**PD - **250**Mohenjo - **850**Draken - **~1200**Abyss - **~8600**Talikan - **9342**
sephiroth976
Tried it out, i get 5600-5800 fps.No idea what this is really, im not that big on programing or directx but figured id give it a try, i assume its not supposed to do anything more then display "Lotus Engine" on a black background? Growlith1223
You would be correct, atm that's what it's meant to do. this was merely a test to see what fps everyone got and such. there's no optimizations whatsoever within the code right now so i wanted to see what everyone gotThank you for testing though! <

sephiroth976
Im just curious, what is the biggest factor for the fps, is it purely cpu or does it utilize the gpu aswell?
jcsnider
Its over 9000!
Growlith1223
well, the Shaders, which is why the Logo has this shade on it, is using a Pixel Shader, so it's more gpu-bound there's very little going on with the cpu-side of it all* * *lol thank you, Benjo xD and thanks jc! Growlith1223
Thank you! i do plan to release this, this is mostly just a way for those to be able to use the better DirectX versions(besides 9, there's very few wrappers that do DirectX anymore) but this will be a DirectX wrapper i plan to make if anyone in the universe ever wishes to use DX10! or whatever, up to you

Exception
I get 2,500 Cycles per Second (FPS is whatever the hell my screen refresh rate is, not what the title bar says. :>).Probably impeded by running Skype + Photoshop + qBitTorrent at the same time.Although, I'm not really sure why this is an important metric to test, all it needs to do is hit 60. AcidTumbleweed
@'BeNjO':> This has sort of turned into a "mines higher" type of thread :(Lol I was thinking the same thing, might be worth posting graphics card info - some of these lower FPS might not be too compatible with DX10.
