Eclipse did not steal his piece of * code or authentication server. I hope he reads this.

Its not a cat or legal fight at all. It is simply gossip or in reality slander considering it isn't true but it does not matter, like I said we are not doing anything as it isn't worth our time.

They are such try hards. Seriously, like if they would ever have used VB6 to make an ORPG engine if eclipse hadn't done so first. Haha, and you can tell they try really hard to show up eclipse. Kinda sad to be honest. It's one thing to try to make a better software based on previous editions, but it's really something else to try to put down the original.

Everything there is false. Literally, going through and reading the comparisons, any EO bashing seem imaginary.

Well, there's a few points. But EO was never provided as a perfect solution, but as a base to use and expand upon. A lot of it also seems silly, as some stuff like the night system? That was Eclipse Evolution. EO doesn't have a day/night cycle by default.

Anyway, there's really no need to get angry or bother with them. They can do as they please, but why should we care of what they think? It's not going to affect any of our ideas and as such we'll simply go on ahead. Maybe there's a few features of theirs we can take to heart, be it as an optional tutorial provided with the engine or in a base package. But considering we have a fair amount of (relatively) stable tutorials for a lot of systems I don't think that'd be much of an issue.

I understand, and I won't bother with them lol. It's just so funny some of the things they say, "Scrolling credits: We don't know why EO has not added this. Maybe some day they will take the 30 seconds it takes to add this". Really? Who even needs that, lol!
