**What is this?**

Eclipse Mega is basically going to be a beefed up version of Eclipse Advance that is full of features (from the tutorial section and also custom ones) for those people who are to lazy to do source edits, or cannot get vb6 to do them.

All of the features from Eclipse Advance v3.0.10 (The base of this engine)

I don't know why people keep saying dragon eclipse is buggy. If anything it's less buggy than EA.

On topic: While I commend your efforts, I dont see the point in this custom version. The features aren't really necessary or unique. Besides, if people are too lazy to add these tutorials they are certainly too lazy to create a game.

But, I suppose for the pure hobbyist it's alright.

Just added another option to the admin panel where you can edit any online players Level, exp and stats. I will be upgrading this system to allow editing players inventory items also.

People can optimize it on their own if they want. I'll try to do it while I'm going through with my coding but I'm not going to go out of my way to search through all of the base engine. This is just going to be a bunch of features I randomly decide to add in.

Also, a little update on the Character Editor in the server panel. You can now edit players inventory/bank basically the same way you edit stats

Tell me just 1! bug in EA (what is only in EA and not in EN) and i will give your 1mil USD. Becouse Around 20fps drop is not bug, it is only payment for good looking GUI.

I haven't stress tested it myself. But in your poll 14 people said it was buggy, compared to 10 that feel it's stable.

The reason I made this statement was because I keep reading people stating that dragon eclipse is buggy (you said it yourself), and yet there is little to no bugs. I know because I've been using it as a base engine.

If there really is 0 bugs in ea I take it back. But I find that hard to believe. With more features comes more potential for bugs.

Anyways, little Update: I'm currently porting all of this over from the base of EA 3.0.7 to 3.0.10.

Ertzel, are you think of putting a projectile system in? Just I know your a big "D" (Dransik, ashen empires) fan like me (used to play) and I've been trying to implement a similar type projectile system in EA for a while with no luck. Mainly so it's not static with up down left right firing, but a direct firing one at MoB/Player targeted with in range, like Ashen Empires range system.

Nice system so far Ertzel!

A bit of background on this project:

Every year for the past 2 years I have made a computer game and sold it at my school, with all the proceeds going that that years school charity collection.

My first one wasn't very good, but last year's one was a semi-full RPG, and very popular (raising £70)

However, it could have raised more if it wasn't for someone taking it home and posting it on Facebook, then telling everyone not to buy it.

This year I decided to find a way to stop this, yet still have the simplicity of an RPG.

The answer was obviously make it online, as without hacking the server it would be impossible to make changes to user accounts.

The only issue with that was that EO, EN or even EA didn't quite have all of the features that I would have liked (EA was by far the closest, however).

I needed a quest system, guilds, housing and most importantly a premium area with one time use license keys.

When I asked Deathbeam to do it, as EA was the best and naturally a good starting point, he was busy making Prospekt Online (going to be an AMAZING game!), so I asked Ertzel to do it.

I don't feel badly to Deathbeam for not helping me, I do know that he genuinely is doing a lot of stuff right now, so Ertzel (maker of EA's extra admin features) was perfect for the job.

I did offer a some money to who whoever did it, but Ertzel was even better than that and asked me to give the money to Eclipse instead, which I have done.

This shows two things: 1) Eclipse is amazing and 2) There are still some nice people who would rather support the freeness of open source software.

Like Murdoc said. There's no point in another clusterfuck custom version. You should be encouraging people to learn how to copy and paste instead of doing it all for them. An engine is meant to be a base, not a pre-made game which is what people will use this for, therefore leading to even more generic games with the same features on here.
