  1. Tried this out and was a bit disappointed that its not much like the original Mirage Realms. Really missed the attack animations and wasn't a big fan of the click a target and auto attack. That being said, it seems like it would have been more fun if not for the fact that it seemed like most of the players online didn't speak english. I do, however, like the fact that you have made it playable with both PC and android but are there any plans to make it playable on IOS?

  3. That's what makes the holiday events special. Plus, most of the holiday items are only for show, granted there are some items that have stats and help your character.

  6. Might just be me but making it so that there is an option to drop or not drop items on death seems a little pointless when you have permanent death. I also don't think making death permanent is a good idea either. Seems like it would make people not want to try harder mobs and/or bosses.

    Message to everyone!

    I'm with AcidTumbleweed on this one, as far as the engine goes anyways. An updated more modern engine is very much needed. When I tell my programming buddies about the engine they seem pretty interested and excited, that is, until I tell them its programmed in VB6\. As far as I can tell, most programmers these days think VB6 is a joke and the fact that people still use it is even funnier. Sadly, I am one of those people who still use but I have been stepping it up and learning C+ and VB.net. There are other engines out there that have been created using more modern languages that were based off of Mirage but for whatever reason it seems this site just doesn't want anything to do with it. I mean know of a couple VB.net engines that are an exact replica of the original Eclipse Origins. Why hasn't the site found a dev to pick that up and shape it into something better? I know the engine I am speaking of isnt the best but it would be a step in the right direction at least.
  8. Well I'm sad to see you go Sky but its okay, I'll see you around on the site which must not be named. I understand why you're doing what you're doing, as I have started to feel much the same, but I have decided to stick it out and help in anyway I can(as little as it maybe) to make this a better place, somewhat like it used to be. With all that said, I honestly don't know why you have pulled the Skywyre Primitive download. With what you're doing right now with Siela I see no reason not to leave Skywyre here, it would be useful for a lot people just stepping into the game development scene. Hell, in the long run it could help attract players for Siela. Also, would you mind if others post a download link for Skywyre? If this an April Fools joke then I will admit, you got me. Seeing how I just got off work and all(so its still the 31st for me lol) I think I should be cut a little slack on that one.
  9. Well I guess by now I'm not new to pixel art but I'm really not that good. I have been getting better, slowly, but practice is the only way to improve. Oh, and I do use art from other games but when I do I never claim it as my own. Besides, it would be fairly easy to tell a professionals work apart from my own lol.
  10. @Sekiguchi Okitsugu, sorry no you can not use them. I am using them on my project but really these were not too difficult to make so I might make some and release them in the future. @tiendat, lol. That would make for some strange class setups. Could be interesting to see though.
  11. I love so many its hard to pic a favorite. I guess the top two that I listen to most would have to be the Super Metriod OST and the Secret of Mana OST, both for SNES.   12. I love your work man keep it up. Sometimes ill just turn them on and listen while I do pixel art or work on a game. The only downside is that there are so many I'll never have time to listen to them all.
  13. LMAO Marsh! Thats a good point though, I totally see it now. As always, looking good Sky. I do agree, however, that there should be some flames coming from the fire and maybe change up the logs a little bit and it would look much better. Also, I would love to see some trees and rocks or something. The ground generation looks nice but maybe kick it up a notch(BAM).
  14. Budris, make sure you select the search option to be Current Project and not Current Module. That will enable you to search through all the modules and then you will be able to find it.
  15. Oh wow those toads look amazing! Did you make walking animations for them as well or did the buyer only ask for single frames?

  20. I've been learning how to program with Game Maker and it seems pretty nice so far. I haven't used RPG Maker MV yet but it seems pretty nice as well.
