@Murdoc: Many of Kusy's critiques are correct, whether he gives them because he's jealous or not I really couldn't care less. The people I remember the most aren't the people that tell me I'm a good artist, but the people that tell me the opposite.

Cool looking Knight.. the tarnish on the metal looks realistic.

By the way I wasnt saying I disagreed with Kusy about the proportions. They are off in some places obviously. Just that art doesnt always have to be perfect to be appealing to the audience. Hence why I used Van Gogh as an example. But one could argue that Van Gogh's proportions were often messed up because he was mentally disturbed.

I love when you take extra time to detail. The battlemage is an example of this. Your research and practice on poses is getting better, particularly hands and heads, but… what is this?

I've been following a few artists lately, and I would encourage that you create/find/use more brushes strictly for detail. Materials, and such, so when you work on shorter pieces, or even pieces like the armor, you have a realistic but flexible brush you can play with to quickly add scratches, or rough terrain, or cloth, metal tarnishes, etc.

But as I've previously mentioned, your improving fast, and your doing incredible for your age. I wish I kept drawing when I was younger… but I guess music and pixel art is my thing. :P

@Jungle:

> It all looks amazing but the self portrait seems to have a few mistakes. It looks like you have a huge bump on the back of your neck.

I can't control where my shirt poofs up. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience I've caused.

Also, saying a "few" mistakes and then only listing one is a little redundant don't you think?

LOVE the Goliath pic, can't see anything wrong with that.
Self pic, looks like your arm is jabbing through the table rather than resting on it, your neck looks like it has a dent and no Adam's apple, and the lump on your back as Jungle pointed out.  The face, as usual, looks great.
The lizard looks good up until the right arm, that thing is a fucking mess, it looks like its broken and twisting out from under the pauldron.  Speaking of the pauldron, that thing is strapped on way too tight, especially if its on the sword arm, normally that arm would need the most amount of mobility, and then that sword… best I can describe it is "flat", it looks like it should be jabbing into its chest.
Not too much I can say about the last pic, only thing I can nitpick about it is the right pocket, I feel it should be at more of an angle following the hand going into it.

Good stuff as usual, looking forward to more from ya.

@Jungle:

> Can you post your reference image so I can understand what you're talking about more?

The lizardman does have quite a few mistakes, the arm is too close to the body for instance and you're right the pauldron is too tight feeling. There is no reference for the self portrait because it was drawn directly from a mirror, the bump is just a little bump in my shirt, shit happens guys, its not a problem with the portrait, it's just what my shirt looked like. I spent 10+ hours on the painting making sure everything was how it should be. The angle of my neck made it look like my adam's apple isn't coming out but if you look at the shading you can still see it, the arm is resting on the table, but the fat I have is hanging down off the table, that's why it looks like the table is cutting into it, try it yourself and you'll see.
