This is EA 3.0.16 with rendering put outside of timer (becouse i wanted clear FPS results) compared to EO 3.0 on mine PC resized with this method:

Changed

And changed frmMain.picScreen Width to **800**

This is EA 3.0.14 compared to EO 3.0 (not clear version) resized with some method idk what (with screen changer probably) on oero´s pc

**Results:**

* **Mine PC -** EA 3.0.16 (with rendering outside of timer) =53 FPS **I** EO 3.0 (clear) = 51 FPS
* **oero´s PC -** EA 3.0.14 =118 FPS **I** EO 3.0 (not clear version) = 248 FPS

So it is really weird results. If some1 have suggestion what i done wrong, or why 3.0 is running faster than EA for oero and for me it is opposite, please tell me.

I do not think so, becouse you have there Quests and Levels buttons (idk for what is that Levels button) and that things arent in clean EO 3.0

With the new Chat function, now once you open the admin panel you can't close it anymore.

Why? Well you can't focus the chat and there is no exit/close button on the panel ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png)

1\. I thought particle effects was a stupid idea… I saw your screenies. I was wrong. well done!

2\. Frame rates can be a factor of many things.

- ram: does one version use more

-processor: same as above

-vid card:

-is one doing software and hardware rendering at the same time.

-different os might handle the program differently

-different gpus might handle some draws better...

It would be really nice if CS:DE had a bank.

Strange how it doesn't, seems like something that would be stock.

Edit: Never mind I found it, wow, how did I not even check for that..

/sigh How do I move the bank window around in the gui, I can find everything else in the interface.ini but there's no bank window.

Oero i tested your source what you sent me with resized screen and it showed same results as that with what i tested, so idk why on your PC results are that different

Becouse it is rendered every 15 miliseconds, so it isnt loaded every time. so it will speedup FPS. And becouse it is rendered every 15 miliseconds, you wont notice differences, it is looking like it is rendered always.

CS:DE? why you are talking here about CS:DE? Becouse this is EA (Eclipse Advanced) and no CS:DE. Maybe it is looking similar, but there is big difference between them.

There is (X) button on top-right of Admin Panel form, you can just pres it and exit Admin Panel like ormal window

Accidentally double posted, srry. So i will use this for new update for EA

New version

Eclipse Advanced v3.0.17

**What is new?**

Biggest part of this update is Developer suite. What is it? So i give you now some food fo your mind if you are game developer. Why you are giving normal players of your game access to all your editors in exe file? So for these reasons in this version of EA i made 2 Exes. One is called Developer suite, and it has all editors etc, but only when player access is highter than normal, he can login to that suite. And another exe is normal version, but without all editors. So to your normal players, give this normal exe, and for mods etc give them Developer Suite.

Another thing what i added is new Map Report and i fixed some event system bugs. I will post screenies later.

Thx You Deathbeam (^w^) This version is nice, the users have a client more lighter.

Note: when the server enters the area of notifications, this can not be shown by double-clicking.

**Edit:**

If used "map links" on edit map, when the player changes map A to B and back quickly move from B to A, the client displays an error: (Error '9' en tiempo de ejecución, El subíndice está fuera del intervalo)

Note: I'm sorry, my VB6 is in Spanish.

Try to run it from IDE (frpm vb6) then press debug when this error appear and screnshot line what it displayed(or copy that line here)

[bug] I am currently using **Eclipse Advanced v3.0.16** so I am not sure if this streaches accross all versions or not but when you drop any ammout of curency you're unable to pick it back up and any item you drop after that is also unable to be picked up, you have to restart the client to be able to pick up droped items from your character again.

**-****Trying to fix the fluidity of the game (when the characters move sometimes the name the tilesets and the characters seem's to be "little bit shaky" not fluid (maybe related to the fps? ) i think that's it**

**Add:**

**-Resolution changer (rendered to the option gui ^^) like you could select by a combobox wich resolution you want and it automatically reads by using the interface.ini or client side ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png) (usefull for big and small screens)**

**-External map editor? ^^ or scrollbar while mapping mode? ^^ (developper client side)**

- **Sometimes i saw npcs walking through block attributes when you put "npc spawn" and you press send sometimes (just check and see if there is a bug )**

**- On safe zone we can't walk through other players (Be careful to don't let Npc being walk through too )**

(Don't add alot of features that may slowdown again the client )

Version 3.0.17

Bugs:

- There are still bugs with conditional branches more specifically the skill and classes sections of conditions. Skills have no options when both fire and water spells exist, while classes have both classes and the skills in the same drop down menu.

- Using the developer client the class master seemed to teleport around until i went into my map editor and exited the map editor. (Seems to be related with the dev client)

- Attacking crashed my client. (could not duplicate)

- Dropped money will not allow you to pick it back up unless you restart your client. Dropping items after money will also not be allowed to be picked up.

- Graphical error with rendering of gold amount in the shop

I'll post more as I find them.

Ok guys new version. I do not added all bugfixes what you all posted yet, but i will do it in next versions. i will add my GUI class in next version maybe too (i do not wanted to add it, becouse Iris wanted to do it for Eclopti).

New version

Eclipse Adavanced v3.0.18

What is new?

* Server side check for developer suite
* Removed collisions when in Developer suite
* Added more options when logging to Developer Suite
* Matched Admin Panel style to be more fitting Developer Suite style
* Removed many things from editors what i forgot to remove in normal .exe
* Removed Admin Warp feature (shift + click) becouse it wasnt needed becouse of collisions removal
* Removed Level Up feature from admin panel and removed packet for it too. It was unneeded command.
