The Vista 64-bit seemed to work alright for my more modern computer though, although if 7 is decent then stick with it. 8 is stupid because everything is designed around touchscreen and tablet interface (even Windows Server 2012 is touchscreen high graphics kiddy interface BS).> Here is Windows timeline > > Win 98 - Great> > Win 2000 - Sucks> > Win XP - Great Great> > Win Vista - Sucks Sucks> > Win 7 - Great Great Great> > Win 8 - no commentWin2k was ducking flawless. The only issue Win2k had was it didn't have all the driver compatibility or ease of use that WinXP had. But it was stable and didn't BSoD every 20 minutes like Win98/ME. You probably thinking Win2k was WinME, actually. Because WinME was the worst; had all the fluff and features of XP but was built on the buggy Win95/98 base.
