I suggest you for the moment to keep Windows 7 and upgrade to Windows 8 once importants bugfixes are released , or even to see how windows 8 is going (reviews etc..)

Windows vista is a wrong idea due to the lags and the more memory usage compared to Windows 7.

Go for Windows 7 because it's a bit common to the old OS systems so it's more easy to use it at the first time , compared to windows 8 where you'll need to search things etc..

Here a Speed tests between 8 & 7 you could find another videos on youtube the best choice is yours because it's your usage

PS: Once you want to change to windows 8 from windows 7 you can do it by buying it for 60 $ or something like that from the microsoft store (online no CD)

You're, as always, an idiot.

Honestly go for 8, my reason being that the hardware acceleration is so much better than 7's. Even if you don't like Metro you can bring back the old Windows 7 menus using a third party program like Start8.

Plus, it's only like $40 ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png).

Well I haven't used Win7 yet, I'm currently on a WinXP computer. The Vista 64-bit seemed to work alright for my more modern computer though, although if 7 is decent then stick with it. 8 is stupid because everything is designed around touchscreen and tablet interface (even Windows Server 2012 is touchscreen high graphics kiddy interface BS).

Win2k was ducking flawless. The only issue Win2k had was it didn't have all the driver compatibility or ease of use that WinXP had. But it was stable and didn't BSoD every 20 minutes like Win98/ME. You probably thinking Win2k was WinME, actually. Because WinME was the worst; had all the fluff and features of XP but was built on the buggy Win95/98 base. Win2k was built on the WinNT base so that was why it was stable (same with XP).

Windows 8\. It's faster and it takes time to get used too, but it's better then W7.

_Try it before you actually talk about it._

> I'm waiting for 9.

Not funny at all, if that's what you're going for.

If you don't like Windows 8, then you obviously won't like Windows 9.
