Sealbreaker
In the time waiting you can still code stuff into the current version, write down where and what you changed/added and later add it to the new versions… Can't wait either :P-seal
Guest
We are currently developing all our graphics for Ambardia EO.Here is the official Ambardia EO topic with videos showing Ambardia running in EO and using all the major new features.[http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,63631.0.html](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,63631.0.html)
Zetasis
The only things I am really waiting on are the new combat system, buff spells, and a guild system. After that I can start actually developing my game. Until then I am working on adding graphical content.@Ambard: Ambardia looks like it will be much better now that you are using Origins. I can't wait for a release to play.Anyways, Origins is looking great as always Robin. Keep it up.
Robin
Glad to see some awesome stuff being developed for Origins. As you all know (or should know if you've actually been reading my posts) I'm working most days. When I do get home at 6pm after work, I'm exhausted and just spend some time hanging out on H&H. I've done next to nothing on the actual Origins source since the last release. Asking when I'm going to release the next version will just get you ignored, and asking what I'm planning for the next release will just get your ignored.Whilst my life is in the state it is now, Origins won't progress like it did during it's infancy. Back when I was in college I could spend entire days working on the source. I don't have that luxury now.
Guest
No problem Robin. I'm very patient myself. I was wondering. You have a great spot for an item animation to be assigned. It would be really cool to add right under animation a sound affect. There is no reason at all why the sound of a swooshing sword or the sound of even footsteps couldn't be added to each movement. Robin
I've added the actual sound engine, but I've yet to go around and add sound effect properties to everything. I was planning on doing so.
WD RPG WD
Robin, I love EO so far. Stay patient and understand people are just exited when they ask dumb questions. So far my game is coming along nice. I'm just working on graphics and getting my tiles and spells in order. I also want to make a donation. There is a US dollar option I assume, no?[![](http://s4.postimage.org/BDFB9.jpg)](http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=aVBDFB9)[![](http://s4.postimage.org/BDI5i.jpg)](http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=aVBDI5i)[![](http://s4.postimage.org/BDKAr.jpg)](http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=aVBDKAr)

WD RPG WD
[http://www.spriters-resource.com/psx_ps2/lunarssc/](http://www.spriters-resource.com/psx_ps2/lunarssc/)Lunar: The Silver Star Story. I've ripped about half of the Lunar tiles myself and changed color pallets on many that I've used from the website. This webside has many great tiles and such. Problem with the Lunar ones is they were meant for 16x16 so Ive had to zoom in 2x and print screen to make them proportional to EO making them a bit pixelated. But I'm satisfied with the results so far.
Robin
That game was awesome. My game is named after the song from it. ;D
Guest
Great work on that WD! You did a really good job on the graphics conversion.
WD RPG WD
Thanks Ambard. I have been working on these tiles for a year now. I've been waiting for the perfect engine to use them on but up until this point I was never satisfied with any of them. I suck at scripting so the more features included in the engine, the easyier on me.
Zetasis
If you can not program Origins how do you plan on making a good game with it? As far as I know Origins is not going to be feature rich by any means. It will have the bare bone basic of what a 2D ORPG is required to have to be a 2D ORPG. That is also one reason why I have hesitated to use Origins but I am okay with just making a decent game. I'm not going to set my standards to high or expect greatness lol. Last thing, your graphics are amazing and I just don't want to see a game with such potential fail.
WD RPG WD
Hey, I appreciate the comments. I have been making games for about 12 years now. I have learned to get around issues. Im mainly a music composer though and havn't had time to learn how to program. If I cant figure out how to use EO I will have to pay Robin or someone else with free time to help me. :PI have a large group of interested people in my game. I should have plenty of people playing to start. We'll see if I can make it worth playing.

Harris6310
You based this off Mirage Source, right?
Aydan
just about every single 2d mmo ever made has been based from Mirage(Except FSO which is the only other i've seen).I think VBGORE was started in mirage before being ported? may be wrong there. Robin
FSO is custom, vbGORE is based on ORE and Odyssey is custom.
