Draken
Was wondering how dedicated everyone here is to their games. Ive been here a while and there is yet to be 1 game fully completed. So heres the question how dedicated are you to your game?
NullSkillVoid
The fact I'm not working on a game right now doesn't exactly help. Less that 1 hour.
Sputnak
5-6 hours or more a day :D I haven't done many things for fun recently
Robin
@Draken:> Ive been here a while and there is yet to be 1 game fully completed.Online games are never 'fully completed'. As for getting a solid release out and a few dedicated players; SD, Ambardia and WN have all got to that stage.

Ive been here a while and there is yet to be 1 game fully completed.> > So heres the question how dedicated are you to your game? With this new project I've started recently, I've spent a lot of time every day (more than six hours per day due vacation, for the past few days) writing my cross-platform C code for my client and server. Other than that, I've spend some time writing some parts of the design and my friend is working on some music for the game, so yea.@Robin:> @Draken:> > > Ive been here a while and there is yet to be 1 game fully completed.> > Online games are never 'fully completed'. Sputnak
Just noticed something: @NullSkillVoid:> The fact I'm not working on a game right now doesn't exactly help. Less that 1 hour.if you aren't working on a game shouldn't that be the last option? None I'm not working on a game, covers your answer better then less than 1 hour does…
Adulese Games
Does this count for hours spent in Forge or SCII Galaxy Map Editor? ;D- Adulese
DrNova
I'm going to be dropping a significant amount of money into gfx artists and coding, on top of time put in.

Given that the software is logically correct, there's always a set of hardware that does something differently or even completely wrong.Regards, Stephan. gaming ace
It varies alot for me. Sometimes I'll spend 4 hours in one day cranking gfx out, other days I don't even bother developing it all since I'm doing other stuff :P
SilentGamer
I don't spend very much completing games. I just bring them back to life when they have died.:)

Eviltyphoon
My dedictation is a disaster. I never got further than ideas for a game. It seems I'm unable to plan on go through with things.

Admiral Refuge
I spend almost no time on Retarded Online; maybe a weekend here and there when I have nothing else to do, considering Uni and other dedications.I am writing a small ascii-based mmo engine (think "Nethack", but in mmo form) in C, for a game idea – I spend a good 2 hours on it here and there. L0lz
Definitely around 2-4 Hours. After that time I tend to work very sloppily, so I quit and basically do something else the rest of the day.
