  1. Hey Guys, This is Joe. Not sure who all is still here to remember me, but it seems like its that time of year again. The Fourth of July has hit America and there will be fire-works galore in less than 24 hours. It also means that it is my 20th birthday! So yeah. Fun times, everyone! Wooooho! Warm Regards, Joe G.
  2. University is going pretty well. Being kept up late as usual with all of the homework that I get for being a physics & math major. XD On the bright side, this semester has mostly interesting classes, so the work is more enjoyable than usual. I've got 3 semesters left and then I go to Europe (most likely northern England) for a year due to our crazy foreign language requirement. They want me to fulfill two semesters of a language class and I can't fit it any other time, so the honors program is paying for tution so long as I keep my grades up. So that should be fun. XD Warm Regards, Joe
  3. But it should be noted that the mathematical number Pi is greater than Pie and Cake. - Adulese
  4. How the duck are we only at this god damn number … 9890. - Adulese
  5. Bloody hell this place looks different … Oh and sup guys? I guess I'm back for my few months of catching up with you lot again. University life's really been hammering my free time. But just so you know, I missed you guys ... well not all of you. XD - Adulese PS: What oldschoolers are still around? PSS: My old MSN account got blocked ... again. So I'm formally switching over to Skype as my main contact medium. If you want to get in contact with me, add my Skype (adulese).
  6. I saw it the other night. While I was blown away by the special effects and overall 3D experience, the movie was very over-rated. The plot was less than stunning and the pace changed far to dramatically. By the last 20 minutes or so, I kept wondering to myself if I was watching the same movie. Overall, I'd give it what I give most of Mr. Scott's films, a 6/10 for amazing special effects but shit plot structure. - Joe
  7. I went down to Edgewater Park. Saw the first half of the transit before the sun set. Beautiful event indeed. Here are some pictures I took: http://imgur.com/a/AyS8W#0 - Joe
  8. **TRANSIT OF VENUS JUNE 5th-6th, 2012** Next Occurrence: **2117 December 10–11** Hey Guys, So last minute posts for the win. The Transit of Venus (where Venus crosses paths between us and the Sun) is occurring within the next 24-hours. **It begins at 22:09 UTC on 5 June 2012, and will finish at 04:49 UTC on 6 June.** So you have basically 7 hours to catch it. However, since its passing in front of the sun, you'll need a backward screen projector or a solar filter to see it. During Sunrise/Sunset, yous may be able to view it without these, but only briefly. For information on if it is able to be seen in your area and when, consult: http://transitofvenus.nl/wp/where-when/local-transit-times/ If you want to aid in the global experiment, download the Transit of Venus App on your iPhone or Android and mark the times you see Venus touching the rim of the sun. This has been done historically and allowed us to measure the distance to the sun by looking at global paralax. You can find that app right here: http://transitofvenus.nl/wp/getting-involved/phone-app/ If you can't view it due to cloud-cover, lack of solar filter, or being at the wrong-place-at-the-wrong-time, you can see the live NASA webcast at: http://venustransit.nasa.gov/transitofvenus/index_ustream.php Don't miss this one, cause you won't see it again for another **105 years**! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILG8aiD2Rcw&feature=youtu.be
  9. Here's my one question: How does he keep his sanity when he's taking a couple weeks hand animating these things? - Joe
  10. 9011 ways I banged your mother last night. - Joe
  11. Back to 0 cause who the hell ARE you … XD - Joe
  12. Just like in a cyclic group of order 5, back to 0 you all go. - Joe
  13. Well, really I should fully be back after tomorrow. Someone thought it would be an amazing idea to put the Abstract Algebra final and the E&M (vector calculus one) final on the same day with like an hour break between them. Tomorrow is gunna be hell on Earth. XD - Joe
  14. I am redownloading Pidgin as we speak. Look forward to me being back and about more often now. - Joe
  15. Damn straight we do. Once finals are over, you better believe we will be doing some stuff. - Joe
