Sony found a file titled Anonymous, with the phrase "We are Legion". Just because it had an anon phrase does not mean they did it. Anon did DDOS the PSN network a week before the actual hacking so it would have been a perfect time for whoever to blame it on anon. There is also talk that it was an inside job. A week before the hack Sony fired over 200 people from their online department. they were given their two week notice and had to work up until the time Sony had to take down the PSN Network.Sony also had thier SOE network hacked and lost another 12k credit cards and over 2.2 million customer information. The SOE network was used for thier online games like everquest.Can you imagine the amount of money that Sony is losing with their network being down for 3 weeks!!!I hate the online networks like PSN and Live. I cant install portal on my pc because PSN is down, and you have to register portal through PSN to activate the key. I have Mortal Kombat and cant release a costume code i have because the network is down. I refuse to pay Live money to let me play multiplayer on a game that i paid for already. I'll only ever play co-op and the like with people I already know.Couple that with the hours you need to spend download, installing, patching, caching and pre-rendering all the damn game data and the entire experience just isn't very enjoyable. I want a game I can just plug in and play. That's where the PC shines. Independent games are the last sanctuary for old school stand-alones which are just genuinely fun to play.I hear the smart phone market has a similar developer base at the moment, but the rate Apple are trying to pump out their new versions I wouldn't be surprised if it starts being destroyed by commercial games.
