ss4terry
in the game me and my friends only play it at night. so the night feature is enabled. how do i permanittly disable it? :icon_crap:
chiccora
I am not sure how to disable it permanently however I have a tip…get the server host to go to the server and click on control panel (I think) then change the time to something like 13 13 13 then click disable time....unfortunately this will reset every time you close the server so the host must do this each time its opened. I beliee to permanently disable it you will need to do a sourceedit
Drummerpete
Go to tiles10 and get rid of the blue square and the big circular thing. Just make it all black.

Lam3r
Make all your maps have the Indoor attribute, or go into your server.exe, and change the time to sometime during the day, then disable server time. (uncheck the little checkbox)
Drummerpete
Note that all these work but with mine you can still have time enabled and you don't have to make sure all maps are indoors.
Devogen
why dont you just comment out the contents of the Night sub…
Drummerpete
@(G2D)Devogen:> why dont you just comment out the contents of the Night sub…That would be far too simple, easy and more efficient.
Godlord
@(G2D)Devogen:> why dont you just comment out the contents of the Night sub…Would only work if the OP has VB6 though.Regards, Godlord.

Robin
Won't removing the blue tile still call the _horrible_ 'special effects' where it locks the DC and ROPs the damn tile all over the map? :|Enjoy your low fps.
IceCream Tuesday
Wait.. Isn't there an option on the server to disable time? Which.. would stop the night.
Admiral Refuge
@IceCream:> Wait.. Isn't there an option on the server to disable time? IceCream Tuesday
I guess.. I just don't see the reason for a clock. Unless there is features that only activate at night.. thats the only time I can see a clock being useful.
SoulBlazer
That'd be the best thing to do, unless you need to put weather in the game.. Otherwise, that's probably the best way to do it.Couldn't you also just change the tile to the day one, instead?

Devogen
MMORPG's, like Casino's, generally lack the visibility of Clocks or the general sense of what Time it is anywhere in the vicinity. If people are not constantly being reminded of what time it is and how long they have just sat there and wasted on an online game, they play for longer and spend more money.
