  1. Yeah you would have to redo the whole map, or you can work on from what you have. I mean see if you can put something else to fill all the empty space. Your world is bigger that just that desert town right? So what ever map you have planed to be above it, just start building in that area. Ya know make the best out of a bad situation.
  2. @BugSICK I've actually switched to ER I'm still looking for someone to help me out
  3. Alright, heres the finished one http://i.imgur.com/UAopjAQ.png
  4. Is this any better? I only redid the front view so far [http://i.imgur.com/D2d9oja.png](http://i.imgur.com/D2d9oja.png)
  5. Is it just the side views that look odd or the front view too?
  6. Yeah that's the same reason I didn't put them as playble races in my game, or add anything larger. Here's what I made http://i.imgur.com/EDkiD0d.png
  7. What graphics do these need to go with RMXP? You might be able to use RMVX sprites for drawfs, that might fit in scale. I might be able to put you and orc together by frakenspriteing, I made one for my own game but its RMVX
  8. Oh, thanks a lot for posting that too!
  9. Oh these look really nice, this is a great resource i think I'll be using these in my project. Thanks for making them! EDIT- Wait, how do I actually add these in? Do I need to change stuff in the code? If so, could you write up a tutorial for that if you have the time?
  10. I might be interested, how much are you paying?
  11. > whos duke? http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/index.php?/user/45803-duke/
  12. > I love the logo. Try adding a bit more color to the GUI. The bars look a bit wierd. (Green on a blue background?) But all in all I like the layout. Yeah i'm planning on finding better bars, those are just temp
  13. Ok so im trying to make the game screen stretch to fill the maximized window. I've gotten it to stretch, but there is this large black area on the picscreen where the GUI used to be. I'm using Dragon eclipse, how can I fix this? ![](http://i.imgur.com/w8vBkrD.jpg)
  14. I'm bringing this topic back, I'm still looking for someone to help.
  15. Yeah people post some crazy things on yahoo answers, most of it is probably trolling, at least I hope. Then again some people really are that stupid.
  16. Really good chance that's fake, I've heard other variations of this story before. I'm sure at somepoint something like that happened to someone though.
  17. Your probably more likely to get a virus from a random "free download!!77!!!fssa" than you are from a torrent. Just be careful and use your brain. Look for comments, seeders, and things that will give you a hint rather it's safe or not.
  18. I've seen the first few episodes, it's a pretty good anime. Kind of reminds me of .hack
  19. As I said before your GUI is mixing way too many styles and elements. Your chatbox, character menu, and options menu all look completely different.
  20. I'm not sure what was wrong with your tileset but your not using the autotiles correctly in that cave map you posted. As for your GUI you need to be more consistent, your using way too many elements and that's making it look cluttered. Your options menu looks completely different that your character menu. Consistency is key when making a user interface. Oh and the classes, Warrior and Wizard are just generic fantasy classes but I wouldn't just copy and paste Robin's descriptions. Whisperer on the other hand is a unique class named by Robin, i wouldn't steal it if I were you.
  21. Yeah your going to need to install the Library files to run the game, if you don't have access to the system files you can't install them.
  22. 3d really opens up a whole new can of worms development wise because If your actually planing to go somewhere with a project your going to be competing with all the other 3d MMOs on the market. It's going to be very difficult as an Indie develop to build a 3d MMO of all things, your going to have to worry about models and textures which take quite a bit more time and are harder to make look good. You can how however create a very nice looking 2d game much easier as an indie developer. I've always said I would rather play a really nice looking 2d game than a bad looking 3d game. You can also hit the "retro" niche with a 2d game and that's really something you can't hit with a 3d game, your just another 3d MMO, which there are thousands of made by multimillion dollar companies.
