Your GUI is as mismatched as mismatched can be.

Your font choice for the menu and buttons is also awful. Even if it's themed, it should still be readable. You're also using the default CSDE layout, at least diverge from it. As a start, it's not ultimately terrible as a design, but the same can't be said for how usable it'd appear to be to the end user.

I would maybe put the fire thing away or at least made it less bright or something.

Just show wich fire (edit it and circle it, or mark it somehow)

Hmm, the ingame ui seems to take up a lot of the player's screen.

I think your game's main page has too many different fonts and colors. I would pic one or two fonts to use for your whole game and find what sort of style and color pallet you want representing the game. For your intro screen I would have a perhaps a simplistic range of a few colors. I like the alchemy symbols, I agree with the ^op that it reminded me of Fullmetal Alchemist. Perhaps redo your title gui with lots of alchemy symbols in the background or subtelly embedded into the ui. You obviously have the skills to make a great ui from what I see above so yeah I'd listen to what other's have said too, and good luck making changes!

It's gaudy and scatterbrained. It doesn't have a polished look. First off, your graphics are fairly low quality, but that's expected; you'll get better with practice(or with better resources). The design itself is pretty shit though, you just have everything all over the place. The eye should be drawn to the center, where the important information is. There's too much 'noise' in it, meaning that there's too much going on. It's hard to focus on the important stuff. Get rid of the background graphics, tone down all the effects, and take out the red/orange streaks near the top.

The buttons need work too. Get rid of the light gray parts, then up the brightness of the yellow text.
