lel
> i dont wanna give a price range, because someone will obviously take the highest priceThen simply list a low ball price to the highest price range "if someone could add editors to the 3D engine." Link
Doing 3D has been done in eclipse, however it's not a good idea, this engine is not made for 3D games as it can barely handle 2D ones in its current state. I suggest you use Unity, but in this case you'd need to learn java or C# or have someone who already knows either of the two, the problem with Unity is that if you'd like to publish your game it costs a great deal of money! Here are some great resources to get you started, if you choose the Unity route![http://www.mybringback.com/tutorial-series/13624/learn-javascript-1-tutorials-intro-to-javascript/](http://www.mybringback.com/tutorial-series/13624/learn-javascript-1-tutorials-intro-to-javascript/) [http://learnunity3d.com](http://learnunity3d.com) If you're only interested in eclipse being 3D there are indeed a few people who I've seen get as close as possible with this engine, but I can't say the results in-game were great, never the less it was a major feat for this engine.- Link
lel
> never the less it was a major feat for this engine and lel's mother is incredibly awesome for giving birth to him =)JC's event system release was a "major feat for this engine" as well. When first released it came with huge amounts of bugs and mishaps. After time, other variations/versions were made with either improvements and/or additions to make it better. All it takes is one person to say something like….... " I can make this 3D and stable..... It will take a lot of work and rewriting on my part ( basically rebuilding the whole engine.) But I can do this......" and yes my mother is awesome thank you.

abhi2011
I believe its script based and uses Java, C#, C++ and JavaScript. I might be wrong though.
Link
You're not wrong as I clearly stated this in my post above, lol. But Unity does not start off with networking, no, all has to be programmed.
Baron
> You're not wrong as I clearly stated this in my post above, lol. But Unity does not start off with networking, no, all has to be programmed.… it does start with a lot of networking support (or did when i was last using it)Even playing singleplayer effectively starts a server and then joins itself. All you need to do is configure the joining setup + UI hooks for the multiplayer side of things.
