**Introduction**
This is a private project started long ago by me and my friend, Carl.

We decided that we wanted to create a game, but not only a game created with an engine, but to create a game not filled with features and cool stuff. Just simply, gamplay features. Things that people want, things that are more retro than newer games. We're pretty much done with the base, we just need more team-members. I will need alot of help with the communiting, moderators and co-leaders that can help me manage people.

**Information**
Tantum is meant to be a medieval-style ORPG. I've put together a few basic features which will improve gameplay. As it is, I'm missing out on a story, since I though I'd start the game before I created lots of imaginary features and mobs etc. Physical gameplay comes first to me:D.

If anyone can mirror the client for me that'd be great! :)

I checked old some old screenshots of Silverdale. I'm pretty sure its a rip, everything is identical in some way or another. All he did is moved some things around, changed the font, and added textures over the graphics, and some other small changes like swapping the icons and filling in the inventory squares black. And added a background. Sure, you might be thinking "That's still a few changes", but in the bigger picture, there's a damn lot more that's the same/similar.

You there, Kreator. You should really ask me before stating anything.

I did every pixel of this gui from scratch, indeed with Silverdale as influense, it's called INSPIRATION. I made it all in photoshop, with NOTHING underneath, I've done EVERYTHING myself, and since I'm nowhere near a good GFX-artist, I'm pretty happy with what I came up with.

And moving stuff around, that changes alot, doesn't it?
You haven't seen 100% of the GUI and not even 10% so please, leave it.

My website is messed up, I really hate freewebs lol.
The game server is currently up and running, so if anyone hosts the client anyone can login, hehe. :)

(Updated the website link, should work now…)

As for proof, I've got over 40 MB of PSDs which I spent SO many hours working on, so don't come around telling me I ripped anything, that'll just piss me off, ALOT.

Thank you!

Me here, I'll do/say/rape whatever I want. Don't get me wrong, I'm not out to attack you personally, the GUI, although it may have been completed from scratch, doesn't feel original. Feels like some sort of Silverdale edit. Take it as a friendly recommendation, when I suggest you should try some originality, to make it stand out and feel unique. I mean come on, things such as the borders are literally identical in size, have the same inner glow, texture, color, and so forth. Just 'feels' like Silverdale, so to speak.

Nah, Rusher, those tiles are older than that. Pretty sure those are from the early 90s and the SNES. Seiken Densetsu 3, if I'm not mistaken.

It looks pretty good, but I dislike the mixing a lot. You've got 2x zoom tiles with 1x zoom sprites. As such, they just don't blend. All the NPCs stand out awkwardly.

Actually, I'm not so sure about the origins of the tileset, now. I dunno. xD

Anything goes! :)

And Kreator, yea, I see your point, but then again, I'm not aiming for originality, I'm aiming for a pre-release and as I'm no good with graphics, I can't really come up with original stuff in a short period of time, I just want to release this game for beta/alpha/whatever!

I'm a PROGRAMMER, so I won't be doing alot of graphicial work. :) I'm the person who makes the game a game, not the person who makes a GAME look good.

The tiles may not match, but I know it'll work in the long run. When you play you don't really care after a while, and there are alot of other tiles. :)

I ripped the tileset from Seiken Densetsu 3, and stretched them myself, which was alot of work, so I'll stick with them as well, but yea, that's like a 1/100th of the complete tileset. :)

We take plagiarism _very_ seriously here. Looking at your tileset, you've just taken some popular 16-bit stretched tilesets and just pasted them into one tileset. You did not rip them yourself.

Hell, you've even got the old Rpg Maker 95 tiles in their original format.

Robin, you didn't see me rip them, right?

I did indeed RIP them off maps from Spriters Resource, not ALL of it but all of the houses and the stuff I wanted to use. I still spent lots of time rearranging it to fit into the tileset and with the other one I am, or WAS using, since I've edited out all of the SD3 tiles now.

Seriously, what the hell is your problem? It's really starting to get to me, I'm not doing anything that nobody else haven't done, so just drop the attitude? I haven't stolen ANYTHING, at least not against any rules, so I don't see the problem. I don't lie, I don't take credit for stuff I didn't do.

Edit: Oh, and thanks for letting me know it was RPG Maker 95, I had no idea. :) And I edited those as well, so yea.
