seems like i need to improve the line art on the trees and make the grass and dirt not suck.  I can definitely improve the grass, and I'll try my best for the dirt.

Funny thing is that if I would write "Jeff, I ment all the things you have mentioned, you should improve it's collor palete, shape and tiling." nobody would even think about considering it spam… however "yes" had the exacly same intelectual value in that situation and it's considered spamy just because it's a single word.

Sorry guys, it's not my fault that I can put more intelectual content into three letters than you could place in ten sentences, it's how I am... it's not about me - it's something about you.

guys dnt troll kusy it was a legit answer but he could've quoted my post to make it more clear.  I have made new dirt and grass and long grass tiles.  I'll upload them once i get cleared by Urame.

The updated ground tiles look better, but some transitions look unnaturally jagged.

The base colour of the grass still looks crap. The long grass looks good. Grass still needs shading it isn't just one colour.

I actually really like the simplicity of the updated tiles. However, it depends on how the rest of your gfx look. Overall they are really good! Colors are nice and bright. Catches attention quite well  :azn:

Miguu, it does have a sort of design to it, using 3 colors.  I'm going to put more contrast into the normal grass tiles then.  Then I'll work on trees.

I dont like the trees and the water.sand is okay. Read some tutorials over the net , and try o make better trees and water

Woods:its very likely i'll redo the trees, they were done pretty quickly and i could've done it better.  And on the water: I'll do a quick water tile of a different style and see how it looks,  i guess.  This type of water does look a little funny.

LOL! they remind me of that too!  ;D  anyways, i think i'm going to completely redo the trees, so don't get attached to that ugly pile of leaves ;)

thanks, and it is basically custom, though i did use a tutorial for the grass and sand on [lesforges](lesforges), a french website.  Oh, and for the water tiles i used Kusy's tutorial but changed it up a bit.

Palette issues?  the dirt look bad, or what?  everything just too contrasted/blurry?  Saturation too much?  please elaborate.

same with tree trunk, too much dithering?  not enough?  Looks too flat?  Too much contrast?  etc.
