    The sprite sizes adjust to whatever it is Erkro1, therefore 64x32 or any other size wouldn't be a problem..

    I figured the blade was supposed to be curved, but that doesn't mean it needs to look like a banana.     Axe looks kinda good. The sword however.. At first it looked like a red banana, now it has changed to something I can't even describe. Take a look at a dagger or a sword or something. And you should try and reduce your palette, increase the contrast between the colors. The character also needs more contrast.
  7. I think you should take a look at some tutorials about shading, and for the samurai, I am not sure they used black clothes and a black hat. What about some kind of robe and a straw hat? If you were going for a ninja, awesome, except it could use a mask then instead.

    The top left pixel needs to be whatever color that the background color is. For example black, will be 0,0,0, not 0,0,1 or anything else.
  11. Well.. I do think they suck, quite bad. But I guess the.. Stick? is at least shaded, so that's a good start. I'd recommend you look through some tutorials. Those tiles = worse than the weapons honestly. Oh and the fire behind the firesword, looks a bit too good compared to the rest. If you did make it, nice. With tiles you need to think about how they look when they repeat themselves, the weapons needs a lightsource.

  14. Sweden is pretty good. We get payed for going to school instead of paying for it. Legal age to fuck is 15, drinking 18, driving 18.. buying alcohol 20.. o.o Really sucks the whole drinking system we got here.. You can go out to pubs etc when you're 18 and drink, but we only got ONE company that are allowed to sell alcoholic beverages over 3.5% alcohol (Good part is because of that they can import about anything.), but yeah.. You need to be 20 to buy from that place. We pay quite a bit in taxes though.
  15. Perhaps you should make some bigger images or a scale up version so we can see what there is to improve, sure, I could save the images and look at them, but I am too lazy for that.. xD
  16. Some times I think that half of the people of Eclipse is retarded. They tend to repeat what the others has said for the last 20 posts, most likely because they are credit whores. So here comes a simple answer. Yes, you can take money for your game. As long as you don't use copyrighted material such as music or artwork. Although, if you use MP3 audio files you would need to pay for a license if your game has been downloaded over 5000 times. MIDI audio can be used for free, even if you charge for your game.
  17. If you have the ability to connect your server computer directly into the modem instead of the router, you will skip a lot of problems. Anyway.. What client are you using, and did you go into it's data file and change the IP and the port to the ones you've opened? And yeah, Bloodless mentioned a good site, canyouseeme.org, if it sees you, everyone else can most likely log onto your server.

    Perhaps you could add some grass lumps onto the road (if the tileset has those.), because right now it just looks too.. Perfect.
  19. I like your music, however, I think it sounds too digital which is quite a turnoff for me. You should totally get some kind of band or something to make your music. Not sure if there are other programs that would be able to give a more realistic sound, but if there is, you should go for it. I also like the art on your songs.
  20. I like the first image, and the texture and the Valkyrie part of the text on the other image, for some reason I don't like the other one. Might be the color that messes the look up. Having it gray would probably make it look better, that's just me though.

    Yeah, I agree about the CPU chip, I don't see what it has to do with the apocalypse. And for the nuke image, is it a screenshot from some game or? If this game is planning on earning money you shouldn't use stuff that has copyright. Well, you should never use images that aren't given out as stock images, but anyway. ;)

  23. Most tilesets are created by placing down pixel by pixel, not using filters like it looks like you've done. You need to go down to the pixel level and edit it pixel by pixel. Creating that pattern isn't that hard. Anna's tutorial pretty much explains how to make it look decent.
