I think they're simply perplexed as to why you think those details even need to be exposed on this kind of topic where your goal is to find people to help you make the game. The Ancient Symbolism concept, for example, is a neat and unique idea that's appropriate to showcase. Yes, I think that's the only think you want to concern yourself with–-don't throw out so much lore. Those are details that should be rewards for people once they play your game. Instead, reveal any unique mechanics that you intend to implement (and be VERY sure to show off some graphics once you get an artist. Players and administrators alike are attracted to a game with some art already done, whether developers like that to be true or not. Good luck!

Apologies for keeping you all waiting (Murdoc made his request 6 days ago, yeesh). I was supposed to finish his request today, but I received the vst upgrade I ordered just today. Unfortunately, I must have screwed up along the way, and I have to waste the day installing ALL my vsts today. Rest Assured, I have indeed been working on requests though.

The minimum requirements are that you have a programmer, an interesting storyline in mind, and already finished original GFX. You want original music, we should hope you want original art. -_ONLY one request at a time_. -_I keep my pace_. I am already involved with another development team on top of several preoccupations, and would prefer not to be rushed on this side-job. Please understand that your request may even take days for me to finish (granted, I probably won't go so far as to make you wait for more than 2 weeks after I add a request to my queue). Ergo, I would suggest that you do not prompt a strict deadline for your project before asking me for tracks. I do not make a living out of this FREE service, and that is admittedly the downside to hiring me. I was actually flamed by PM by someone who didn't understand that much when I was last here. -_I will eventually close this topic_. For those of you who have their project nearly done, we can easily work something out through PM. -_You must agree to letting me post the files here._ None of these files are copyrighted, and if you plan to make a commercial game, you're going to want to PM me about such details. I also plan on posting midi animations of the music on youtube to show myself off, of course. Not to mention that it's pretty much free advertising for your project if I were to claim some notoreity. POSTING REQUESTS (must include all of the following items in addition to meeting the above requirements) -audio format (.mid .wma .mp3 .ogg .wav etc) -Game Title and genre (story AND gameplay genre) -Your game might be of the fantasy genre, but understand that I kinda like modern sounds. Therefore, if you especially must have the music be of a particular genre, let me know. -Track Title (I want to be able to catalogue all my work) -Details (is it battle music? an overworld? did something tragic happen?) -Looping: if it should loop, should it fade out after looping again OR should it loop seamlessly? **CAUTIONARY NOTE: I personally recommend that if your request is not a .mid file that you have the music fade out before looping. All too often I get a request from someone who hasn't even programmed an engine that can correctly loop other files. If the mp3 or whatever has an echo, there will be a significant delay and ugly "transition" to the re-loop that nobody will like to hear.** Posts that I have acknowledged will be documented at the bottom of this post. Anyone who couldn't even read the above items will doubtlessly be ignored as both parties really must realize how critical this information is for either of us.
