Thanks for the replies, although I won't be redoing this map because it was mostly just an example somewhere else, at least not until my custom tileset is done.

This is just a random map I made as an example somewhere else, and I just decided that since I already had the image uploaded I might as well post it here. I've been doing mapping for a while so don't give me any mercy. Tear apart every little detail you see. Destroy my hopes and dreams if you must. Just do it in a way that can help me fix them.

I would suggest using Eclipse Stable. 2.7 still has some more rare issues with the freezing, Eclipse Stable has it fixed completely. However, with Eclipse Stable you will need to convert any midi sound files you have to mp3 or they won't loop.

Is that 23/7 a typo or on purpose? You may wanna edit that, there are some very nitpicky people who might think that was on purpose or something. Hehe ^^

Make some sample maps now, take a screenshot, upload to the eclipse file host, and put up the image link. I think people would be more interested in hiring you if you showed some more current work.

if you're using a 32x32 sprite, you need to put it at the top half of the row, because the 32x32 selection on eclipse takes the top 32x32, not bottom 32x32 EDIT: Did that make any sense?
