Flash! Actionscript at the time seemed like a good language to learn first. (I soon learned the day after I finished most learning that it was a terrible choice).

After Flash, CSS. Then HTML. Then JavaScript (Still working on that one).

I own a copy of Flash 8.

I almost forgot about Q-Basic. That was my fourth language I learned.

> QBasic use to be quite common :). You actually paid for flash? Are you insane! Lol

When your dad owns a game company, you will get all Adobe products ;). I have Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, and some other thing (forgot what it was). All are purchased versions.

@Zetta:

> C/C++ has the illusion that its hard because most professional programmers use it. In reality, C/C++ is easier to use than BASIC-based languages.

Really? I found learning C/C++ to be much harder than learning BASIC dialects.

That's only if you learned BASIC first.
If you learned C++ first, it's easy, and BASIC-syntax programs are even easier; if you learn BASIC first, you may have abit harder time grasping C-syntax as a second language.

I learned a bit of flash actionscript then found eclipse and started learning sadscript. Then moved on to VB6, then decided to learn HTML. Found out that VB6 sucks so I learned a tiny bit of C++ then found out the engine was going to be written in Java so I may start learning that.
