    ah ok, how do you know the selecting of color to use for the dithering, is it based off of current colors around the area needing to be dithered?

    hrm so you want it per-strict .ini? Crypto ~9line Medevac brings back memorys, boy does it. perfect answer. IMO. Simple way for those who catch on pretty quick: Just think as parse as a container which holds the information of a value,string or input… a secure way to doing that would be to have it randomly generate a file each time the server is started, and hold the information within a "temporary container" which could be set on yourside as your "ini" so you could look into where its saving the info into... bad thing into making everything into one ini is when you go to open it, it will be pretty large and long wait to open...also loads stuff slower. now since your wanting it to do constants/strings... it may be quicker for the first 100 users, but it could generally dwindle into more memory useage. you could however get it to call and write to it all within a .pak file which could send a crypt key~de-crypt key to and fro allowing all the information on the data files to be locked... could easily have one for each user, specifying one for constant, one for string and one for everything else... it could lock to the users account name serverside... bahhh sorry I think too much... this probably made 0 sense, oh well ;p

    Something I'm going to try to work on, just a "for fun" project, no guarantee of its instant win. This is just the "viewer" You can see what quests each npc has and at what coordinate this npc is at, map and level range the quest selected is, will add the ability to "cycle through" the quests, so expect another set of drop downs to the right of the current drop downs (other entry field will become dropdown field) You will be allowed to select up to 1 main quest of the npc. then have up to 20 chained quests to go along with that main quest… Each quest will allow you to have up to 20 chained quests. so first entry = main, the other 20 = chained with main quest. let me know if this looks good? Bottom text is a basic example of its display

    lol but you really dont explain dithering, but instead color stacking and basics of color palette finding. decided just to use graphicsgale since i own the full version from past purchasing.
  7. also you can change the bevel apperance on the chat box to single line, so it looks flat and made into the interface instead of standing out. this should improve your interface some ;)
  8. its in your source, open up vb and look through the code, I've changed it before back in june of last year… I can't even run vb now or I could help you. I'm needing to install windows xp on virtualbox but my cd is 420 miles away (I'm not at home) there should be something that says "black" and "grey" or something that has a hex number which relates to the color... or click on the actual text itself an see if it allows you to change the color, I know you can the black but cannot remember on the grey, view the source on the code that changes the text... Someone who has access to VB should be able to help you, I would if I could use mine but unfortunately I cannot.
  9. oh wow, looks good with your tile theme! but I honestly think the text for the stats should be made more apparent to the gui, so you can fully see it without any color complications, to me it blends in a little too much, perhaps if it was white? (not the theme white but the text color that is in black/greys, should be white)

    think the problem I'm having is the color pallet and not knowing how the dithering works in pixel art. Kreator, I could use a redirection to a explanation on how to dither correctly and I've been looking on deviantart for tuts… unless you know of one directly... Care to help? I learn some-what quick if I have a good place to answer my questions.

    lmao i havent used gimp since the day they first came out with it on the net. (ages ago) Guess I need to use it since i by no means can use my photoshop on windows 7, keeps crashing display drivers due to the fact that its new version requires your graphics card way too much… even disabled opengl use and still doesnt fix the problem... now it crashes when I make a new document... lmao pscs4 extended+win7 ulti 64bit = evil when used togeather... I did this in graphicsgale...

    no it was lime green. however, what background would you prefer one to use for spriting? i just made it black because thats what I do with all things I wish to see that could end up being tiny. to me it makes everything crisp and sharpens the pixels so I can see it if it end up being a small picture. This is by no means something I'll use, its just something I did to try to learn from. Which is why I posted it in here, for guidance, it's been a few years since since I've sprited anything, (my few is by no means 2 years, its more like 4)

  16. No, for the fact that I'm one of many that has a creativity block at the moment. I already have 5 domain names of my own, trying to get my creative juices flowing again so that I can create a unique one that isn't taken/mentioned within this post. Too bad for you that you automatically jump to conclusions "guilty until proven innocent" is just what you placed down on someone you hardly know. Also it seems to me your trolling, there is of no need for you to post in this thread if you are not going to follow the threads topic. If there was a appropriate area to post such question, I would of posted it there. However since there is indeed a website "area" it doesn't follow the rule of "asking questions" Thus this is why I was forced to put it within Chat area.

    Malaysia has released an english client to their game Pandora Saga. it appears a lot of malaysia, singapore and chinese play it.
