Windia Screenshots (100% Custom GFX Game)

Hey guys, I haven`t been around for a while… I just wanted to show you some screenshots of the project I`ve been working on

Me and my friend decided to create a 100% custom game, which isn`t something easy to do, at least for us. And that`s here`s what we`ve got `till now:

Ellis entrance, the archer`s town in Windia world. I tried to make it look like a plateau, or something close to it…

Lucca beach (gotta draw the coconut trees shadows), and the crabbys  - Hell yea I invented a new kind of coconut tree. (and I know they suck)

Here`s some monsters we`ve got `till now

The sprites are paperdolled, as you can see in the screenshots. We`ve already drawn 6 full sets for each class (Warrior, Sentinel/Archer, and Mage), I`ll post some of them later.

As you can see, we tryied to make a `cartoonish-styled` game, that`s why it`s so colorful and there aren`t many textures, we tryied to add some, but it simply didn`t fit the game.

ALSO please note that we are no pixel artists. We have NEVER drawn anything before this that I`m showing you, it`s my first tileset, and my first spritesheet, so please, take that in consideration before sending me to hell =P

*the GUI is in portuguese, hope you don`t mind,  ._.

well actually all the maps are still beeing made, and the empty ones will be filled with npcs, I won`t add  much texture/shading because the game will loose it`s concept. And Yea, I didn`t mean the engine, I`ll change that.  :afro:

Oh sorry.In this concept its nice , but in other concept..Anyways , i see tree shading in the grass , is this alpha blending ?! Anyways sorry

Fantastic. I love to see custom work. If you guys continue to develop this game you will find that the graphics will slowly build and fit even better as time goes by. Keep up the great job.

Thanks a lot, really. I know that it`s not even close to something `decent`, but as I practice, I keep improving my skills, and hopefully it will turn out in something good, lol.
