We do let people ask things. After about the fiftieth person in one hour asking the same question, it gets annoying and people just ignore the newbies.

Maybe a support channel should be set up for newbies to ask questions in… Nah, they'd all still ask away in the shoutbox, because they'd be too lazy to go in. I'm pretty sure this was attempted before, see...

Personally I don't see where the last 2 posts with questions have anything to do with vb6…
There should be a warning at the top of the screen like this - WARNING - this engine is not the new stable, theres no .inis, so go away unless u could use the vb6 ways…
At least then you wouldn't spend the time downloading then post 200 questions answered by 1 tutorial and have people get annoyed at you.

If you can't figure out how to work Visual Basic 6 you should go back to Rpg Maker. Not even joking. Get out of here if you expect someone to do everything for you. It doesn't have to be newb friendly.

Why are you guys so repulsive ? I saw more then 6 replays that tell me i'm a noob and i should go away, how do you want to increase the community, if the current is so aggressive. Instead of so many useless replies, someone could explain that (if everything is so easy for the "advanced").

Robin you did a great job with the engine, all I wanted to know was where should I start to edit so I can make the maps scroll, and that think with the animations.
When I changes the max_mapx and max_mapy, the engine reduces the graphics greatly. I see the sprite as a fleas on the map.

Update :

Nvm about animation, my fool sorry. But can you give me a hint about the map scroll ?

Btw about development discussion. Can you add a diferent file.bmp for attack only ? So we can customize our character attack animation frames how long we want. Like the items animation ( One of the best thinks i saw)

I made a fix, pretty easy to edit to work with attacking players too:
