you need to redo the sizes of everything and make them in perspective of each other, are you trying to tell me a sign is almost the same size as a tree?

plus the way the tree looks it looks like you're looking at it from a different angle comapred to everything else. The water pool also needs work it doesn't really have depth it just kind of looks flat and I'm pretty sure you can't get 2d pools.

thats my 2 cent's

The pool is shallow.. So obviously there won't be any depth.

The sign is the wrong perspective, not the tree.

oh, and
The sign and the tree **_are_** the same size ;D Herp. It's called a style choice. But those are supposed to be small trees anyways.

Looks very nice though I have to agree with the above poster. It look a by weird to have the trees the same size as the people. They look more like bushes. Though f it's a style choice as you stated and everything follows that guideline it should be fine.

I actually really like the tileset. I can't tell you to improve because I can't do any better XD, but I like what you are going for. If you do rework your tiles I'm sure they'd just be amazing.

I forgot to mention your lighting needs work. The top of the small tiny rocks are light while the rest of that rock is dark) which suggest the light is coming from top down, however on the cliffs at the edge their is dark grass which doesn't make any sense from a lighting point of view.

Path looks fine in my opinion. You still need to remove or lighten the bottom outline of the cliffs; it looks good on the small cliff, but the cliffs at the top of the map still have that black outline which doesn't blend into the grass very well. Also to give the water bank a little extra jazz, give it a white or white-blue outline at the edge, to imply the water foaming as it hits the bank. Not too distinct though, it should be fairly subtle.

All in all I like the tilesets; the only thing annoying is the tall grass gets a little repetitive; but that can be alleviated with decent mapping.

The sides of the cliffs, to remain in perspective would need to be angled like the signs/trees/houses and darkened at the bottom just to give it some depth, but otherwise, amazing in my opinion.  I'll be on MSN when I get back to my place and not at work (only have access to a web-browser on this machine), our IT guys lock us out of everything else.
