How to remove blood-Very Newbie

If you are trying to get young players to play your game you need to get rid of blood. But How?
>! •Go into Client. •Open Data Files. •Click on blood.bmp (Do not double click.) •Hit the Delete Button on your keyboard. •Click "Yes". •Ta-Da! Blood Free!

I did it in one of my games and there is no error.

It works, but only because I check to make sure the graphics exist before rendering anything.

This is actually better than a transparent image because this'll cause the entire blood system to be bypassed.

Obviously that was an accident on their part, but still.
