Rob Janes
Yup, the quest system has been done for days :)Once I touch up the UI to where it's unique enough, I will tackle a crafting system and a 'Shapeshifter' class.
Beanie93
Shit that sounds exciting. Also, I have not got clear about this game you're making; is it an official game you're making to demonstrate what you can do with CS:DE, or is it just a little game just to get users started with when they use this? Rob Janes
It'll be a 'tech-demo' to show what you can do with CS:DE, but all the resources can be used for people to get started on their own game as well. :)
Beanie93
So, basically your own game, but there will be a download for the source?

Rob Janes
Wiser words were never spoken Bean. It'll be available when It's 'user-friendly' enough and has enough features. Right now a lot of it is done server-side, ie Quests done by modifying a data file rather than using a Quest Editor on the client. This is something I want to change prior to releasing it. Another with some other things. Rob Janes
Mappers needed, good quality mapping skills a necessity. Reply if interested.
Rob Janes
Made some edits today, will post a detailed description of them later. One of my mappers were complaining of the default CS:DE map editor, so I made some changes to make it a little easier.1\. Moved the Admin Panel to it's own Form, so it no longer blocks and view of the map.2\. Added a 'Grid Lines' toggle at the bottom of the Map Editor screen to turn on Grid Lines to know what tile you're selecting.3\. Added a 'Drag Box' that shows a box around multiple tiles you are selected. It works well but for some reason it doesn't want to show properly in this video, it flashes black, but you get the idea.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnZpzsTwjVU

Rob Janes
I will at some point. No point in releasing it now, not being feature complete then adding new features and people continually having to port to the latest version ;)

Rob Janes
A little bit of progress late this evening. Heading to bed for the night but figured I'd post an update.1\. Added a new Equipment slot (Leggings)2\. Added Class Descriptions (can be changed through the classes.ini file)3\. Removed the previous way the new account creation was handled, it no longer uses the existing .png files, but rather loads the classes description sent from the server.4\. Added ability to have an animated background for the main menu, as you can see in the video.I plan to tackle the serious 'paperdolling' first thing in the morning, allowing various bodies and heads.Enjoy this video!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfmFAPsoy30

Rob Janes
The background moves at all main menu screens.Made some small changes this morning:1\. Mousing over the Hotbar now displays the Spell Description, similar to the Spell Book.2\. Added a 'Contact a GM' button to send a 'petition' to a Game Master. The request waits in Queue until a Game Master has closed the petition.3\. Now working on the Body/Head system. Will update more later.

Rithy58
The menu start out with nothing is weird. There should be a News or a Welcome message or something. It can go away when you click one of the button. The arrow for the Head and Body is strange cause it's horizontal, not vertical. The moving cloud in the background is epic. Very nicely done =]Sincerely,Rithy
