http://pyriteworld.chatango.com/ I was interested…but after doing some digging around, I found this on your chatango... > Carim: Let's clear up a few things… > "Turns out once again I get back stabbed again." > Lolk, you conceited brat. I quit because you wanted to dominate everything, and did nothing while you sat there being completely idle, and doing nothing but so-called "managing the community and money", which any person to do. > > Carim: "I will make sure that you get the best game play you have ever dreamed of." > Oh, please. You -depended- on me, and KUPA to add stuff to the game. Not once did -you- suggest a useful thing, every single idea was a concept of mine or KUPA's idea. > "Might I add. Neither of them were willing to negotiate. " > Neither? What has Ghostly got to do with this? He did nothing. And on my side, I was willing to negotiate, but you, being your controlling and dominant self made working on PPW unbearable. I decided to break off. > > Carim: "Ugh. What happen now?" > Lilly happened. I'm not to blame, she put the bullet in this projects head when she started getting greedy and impatient. She has no experience of making a game whatsoever, and thinks that doing a course would make her brilliant at it, and that she clearly knows best when it comes to designing a game. > "i dont understand why some ppl can be so mean.......leaving this wonderfull family" > Oh, please, shut the hell up. You have no idea what was going on. This was nowhere near a wonderful family, it was always nagging to get things that would eventually be done, and Lilly constantly trying to screw me over by telling me what I can and can't do with -my- own code. An example? Oh, she wanted to have licensing over my code, meaning she could do whatever she wanted with my property. Let's look at Globia. Hmm, greedy much? > > Carim: "feeling bad for u lilly again u get betrayed " > Wahahaha, -I- betrayed Lilly? Lolk. > "I will prove to these 3 and anyone else who doubts me. I will make the best dam pokemon mmorpg in the world!" > Oh please, you can't make a game. Like I said, you depended on me and KUPA to do your content for you. You are -nothing- without us, and PPW's just going to become another project that'll die. > As much as I hate to say it, I don't care about PPW, and PCO has beat PPW, no matter how terrible that sounds. > Does this mean the end of me and KUPA's development? Well, I have the code. We'll see where we go. Which shows the other side to this.. …and then you said > hopefully i find a c++ coder :S i hope to rub it in that backstabbing carim (a.k.a 8's) face :3 Which completely put me off, so, yeah. Still, good luck finding a coder.

Type /editmap in the chat, click the Properties button, and set your NPCs in the listbox.

They are fine. All you need is adding more detail, and making them bigger. Most of the maps at Iron Prelude are 30x30 to 60x60 big.
-
GetPlayerNextLevel function in the server.

Make sure you're not editing them with MS Paint. Use Paint.NET, Gimp or Photoshop.

Would you bother to read? @Schnurman: > No the gui is for our game. But you will have basic outlines for it. It's not hard to make GUI either like this. -
That's weird, that would be the only reason I could think of. Make sure the whatevernum_h.png is full, and has the hover effects fully.
-
Make sure you have increased the size of the button in the source. It's rendering the specified size for the the default CS:DE buttons.

@Prince: > hmm….. no GUI include right? -_- What else do you want? He's giving you hours of work, and now you will go crying just because it won't include a GUI? As Schnurman said, it's not hard to make a GUI like Rob's. -

Be patient. And stop using the word "they", because @Bean: > what you just said clearly means you want to convince him to release it at the state it is now so _you_ can use it. -

Yes, what you just said clearly means you want to convince him to release it at the state it is now so _you_ can use it. -
@Hybrid.: > Looks great mate. > Are you going to release this to the public? http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,74351.msg812935.html#msg812935

Yeah, Robin should have gotten some more. Also, it was posted in DeviantArt from someone who's not Celianna… so I guess I'd just post them. :P

No. He hasn't released the latest version yet, since there are bunches of changes in so little time, I believe. This is turning into his own game, but he will also release the source for educational purposes. -

@Rob: > How about this? > ![](http://www.aloriaonline.com/Paused2.png) Exactly what I meant. -
In modConstants, change Public Const MAX_MAPS As Long = 100, in both client and server.

I like the 'Paused' menu, but you should probably make the screen fade out a bit, so it looks a bit better. -

I like both of the new GUIs. You should just leave an option for the players to change at their liking. -

It will be ready, once it's ready, I guess? -
I think he's trying to link the conversation system with the quest system, so you can initialise a quest through a conversation.

Shit that sounds exciting. Also, I have not got clear about this game you're making; is it an official game you're making to demonstrate what you can do with CS:DE, or is it just a little game just to get users started with when they use this?
