Anna Comnena
CS beta 7.1 was my favorite. Or whenever the first release of cs_office and cs_vegas came out. The originals of those maps were awesome, but every release they got modified.

Robin
My serious suggestion: Every single Ultima game.![](http://i.imgur.com/0dTlp.png)They revolutionised story-based games forever. They were the first titles to really create an immersive universe which you could get lost in. They also dealt with much deeper philosophical debates than any modern games do,
Connor
I'd point out the Age of Empire games too, I just love them.

Bonk
Seiken Densetsu IIIPossibly the most beautiful game in the World.#![](http://rpgsquare.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/seiken-densetsu-3-battle.gif)Just look at it :)And there's no excuse for not playing since the ROM's all over the interwebs. Just get an SNES emulator and you're well away.
Robin
It's also 2 player and zsnes can emulate it over IP.
Bonk
Happiness for 2 players :)I also think there's a patch out there allowing for three players to use the two player mode, located right [here](http://www.fantasyanime.com/mana/som2downloads.htm). Everyone needs this game :)
Anna Comnena
Yeah Seiken Densetsu III is good. Also I'll second Robin's suggestion about the Ultima games, although I'd mainly recommend 4 and 5 in the series.
Bonk
I played Ultima IV and I couldn't really get into it. It was fun to look back at game standards from '85, but the keyboard letters and lack of instructions on how and why to use them put me off a little. 'Twas funny watching the stick-man wobble about on screen without changing direction, though xD
