What games do you think everyone should at least try once. Preferably older/obscure games

This might have been done before but im starting a new one.

Here are three of my all time favorite games!

I almost was going to say: Battlefield 3.
But I say: Age of Empires 2.
Whaha I still remember the days I played it xD
You know what, I am going to play it now again after 4 years xD

EDIT: I forgot to say, if you like startegy games, you should also try dune 2000, the younger son of dune II.
Oh and also Counter Strike Source only surf maps, thats something you should try if you can.
Now I am really going to play AoE2 (after download is complete)

My serious suggestion: Every single Ultima game.

They revolutionised story-based games forever. They were the first titles to really create an immersive universe which you could get lost in. They also dealt with much deeper philosophical debates than any modern games do,

Seiken Densetsu III

Possibly the most beautiful game in the World.#

Just look at it :)
And there's no excuse for not playing since the ROM's all over the interwebs. Just get an SNES emulator and you're well away.

Happiness for 2 players :)
I also think there's a patch out there allowing for three players to use the two player mode, located right [here](http://www.fantasyanime.com/mana/som2downloads.htm). Everyone needs this game :)

I played Ultima IV and I couldn't really get into it. It was fun to look back at game standards from '85, but the keyboard letters and lack of instructions on how and why to use them put me off a little. 'Twas funny watching the stick-man wobble about on screen without changing direction, though xD
