  1. Thanks that works. You must type it in the server.exe in case anyone is wondering.
  2. He is right I can't see to figure it out either. If you do figure it out, Dog, let me know. This is driving me crazy now.
  3. Looking alright. Keep it up. I'm not very good at pixel art so I don't think my opinion matters much but I think its cool you are offering these to the community. Thanks and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
  4. Okay so I haven't given up just yet. I worked on the trees a bit and I feel like they are much better now. I also added some dirt spots as well as a few different tree trunks/stumps. The next thing I am going to try and tackle is changing the perspective on the cars. Well, here it is. ![](http://eclipseorigins.com/community/filehost/fa31447310f3038a69a489cd15c6a8f8.png)
  5. Sounds like a good idea to me. I hope this will work I miss the good ol days of Eclipse. :)
  6. There was an engine around here that is just what you're looking for. The engine was called prospekt. Just google prospekt source and you should find it.
  7. Well if you need some more ideas how about adding npc spells? A guild system would be nice as well.
  8. Well damn. I don't have much free time to do too many improvements and I personally thought it was a good improvement. I had a pretty difficult time making the tree to be honest. The palette I found by googling snes palettes. The black outline is to make it look cartoon-ish which, apparently, I managed not to do. The cars I took from Earth Bound for place holders but seeing how others have also said that they're the only good things as well then I'll keep em if I keep working on these. I'm getting the feeling I'm just not cut out for pixel art. Sucks but we all have our strengths and weaknesses. Even if I do give up pixel art I'm still proud of what I have made here and at least I have that. :P
  9. I managed to find some free time so I decided to try and touch up my tiles. It was said several times that the palette was ugly and the trees needed work so those are what I focused on most. Let me know what think, thanks. ![](http://eclipseorigins.com/community/filehost/aca1fe5f60933306716843f53cbbe236.png)
  10. Well I hope to see something come of this.
  11. So I got bored and decided to work on these tiles some more. Here is a map with some of the new tiles I've been working on, I didn't make the cars I think they came from Earth Bound but I'm not sure on that I found them on the net. Same for the light post. I did however touch them up as well as recolor them to match my tiles. ![](http://eclipseorigins.com/community/filehost/b6009470d075c1db0b719cf8b221f733.png)
  12. Okay now I know that this engines base was Genesis2D for sure. The player stats menu is a dead give away. Most of the other editors still highly resemble G2D as well. Still, though, I hope this engine the best of luck. G2D was great and had a good chance but sadly the team slowly fell apart. I'm glad someone has taken the time to take the engine and update it too a more modern version. Anyways, when will this engine be up for download? I'd love to mess around with it.
  13. Hmm. This engine reminds me of another engine I have checked out before, Genesis2D. You didn't by chance use G2D as a base did you? Anyways, looks like a nice engine, where would I download it?
  14. Haha, this totally isn't worth paying for. There are a ton of free programs all over the web that do this already, not to mention if you can use paint.net, gimp, or photoshop you can do this with ease. I guess if you are new to this kind of stuff then it might be worth it but I wouldn't recommend it.
  15. > Work on the tilesets has been progressing extremely well. I've been pulling money out of my own pocket to fund Elandor Chronicles and get some outside-help to hurry development along. Here is a preview of the work going into the first major city in Elandor Chronicles, Helmsglade. > > > > ![](http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KgBp6XiuvrE/U31E7DE7YnI/AAAAAAAAASY/ZrTfLJ__bM8/s1600/hemlsglade3-pre2v.png) I don't know how else to say it. Your work is amazing. I'm looking forward to playing this game.
  16. > Here's a preview of the first dungeon, Moonlit Grotto. Name subject to change since a Zelda Gameboy game has the same name, which I may have overlooked when I was thinking of names. This dungeon will be a cave-dungeon hybrid, home to lizardfolk and some other critters and creatures. > > ![](http://eclipseorigins.com/community/filehost/235813d6f38882a83f416aec1710b72a.png) I know this is a long shot but if you were to put this up on the xbox indie market I would totally buy it. Graphics are amazingly beautiful BTW. Must… resist... urge... to rip....
  17. TehDoug got slapped by the hand of gawd.
  18. > Putting it on public will waste my time and effort on this engine Well if you are not going to use it wouldn't you rather see it go to good use by others? Not releasing it and just letting it die seems like more of a waste to me.
  19. > well someone will buy it for shure but i dont suggest you to sell it > > at some point someone will give source to public anyway same heppend when i tryed to sell bubble strikers engine …... Sadly, Zopto is right it would be best to just put it up for download. With that being said, I would totally download a pokemon engine if it were free.
  20. Wow these are pretty good. They remind me of a mix between Final Fantasy and Secret of Mana. Thanks for the share.
  21. Wow, that Link and those chicken sprites are awesome, but hell, all of your work is great. Good job.
  22. It was okay. I felt that it was heading into something heavy and more up beat but then it never came.
  23. Just got to the start page and in the search window simply type dpi. Something about making text bigger/smaller or something along those lines should come up. Just click it and you will know what to do from there its pretty self explanatory.
  24. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oz7gH8x-ts So I found this video and it got me thinking, wouldn't it be cool if there were an ORPG out there that used nice retro graphics in a minecraft like 3D world? Anyways, I was just curious what others thought about the idea so leave your thoughts.
