  1. I suggest the original virtual villagers, lame, I know. But it was the first game I ever got seriously addicted too.
  2. I love these maps! Good job guys, I'm pretty picky xD
  3. A study has shown that an increasing proportion of teenagers in Majilova are falling pregnant. The Debate "We need comprehensive sex education to be mandatory in all schools," says Akira Mistletoe, a teacher while tidying away some diagrams that make your eyes water. "The plain fact is that teenagers will experiment with sexual intercourse despite what society or their parents wish. So I say give these kids free contraceptives, and make them fully aware of the consequences of their actions. Information is what they need, not condemnation. If they ignore it then hey, it's their own damn fault." "If you give them contraception it'll just encourage them to do… terrible things," says Chastity Love, a religious parent and member of Moral Minority. "And what's with giving them so much information? There's even diagrams for goodness sake! Have they never heard of 'monkey see, monkey do'? They'll just go and try it out, mark my words! The solution is simple: girls should be kept at home and away from the monkey house of lustful impetuousness and young males until they are of marriageable age. Teaching teenagers abstinence and chastity is the key, not giving them step-by-step manuals." "However sex education is taught, it is still social engineering and so undermines parental authority," says conservative newspaper columnist Jazz Trax. "My own son learned about something called 'homosexuality' the other day! For shame! We all know it should be Adam and Eve, not Adam and... Geoff? Anyway, my point is that sex education should be dropped from schools and instead taught by parents the way they see fit. That way children will get consistent messages and parents, not society, will cop the blame if any of their kids fall pregnant." "No-one's asked me my opinion yet," says Catherine Gratwick, a teenage mother as she bottle-feeds her baby. "I think it's perfectly obvious what the cause of teenage pregnancy is - teenage boys! My son's father is the one that got me into this mess. He's the one who pressured me into having sex, but all the education is focused on the girls. Teenage fathers should be made responsible for their actions for once and be made to join the military so they can send their wages back to pay for their children's upkeep. If that's not a deterrent, then I don't know what is." "I think we've missed the fact that maybe this teenage pregnancy phenomenon is not such a bad thing," says May Rubin, a famous demographer. "We need the population to grow, we need more people of working age, we need more tax for public services, et cetera. There are plenty of sound demographical reasons why we should be encouraging women to have families. By all means educate them about the dangers, but I don't think we ought to discourage teenagers from procreating - it's nature's way you know." Although at first glance I thought #1 was pretty obvious, but I'm actually thinking #4 makes more sense to me. Girl's are (look at some stats if you disagree) the ones who are ultimately pay, especially since their male counterpart will often leave her and the baby alone and penniless. So, #4 it is :\
  4. @Tiana, kinda makes it sounds like you have a dick and vag. Teeth (Netflix it, I dare you)

    World map

The grass looks ok, but the water looks really bad. Kinda looks like you took a tye died shirt pattern and called it water. The lava looks decent but it's quite an expansive area if that's your "world map". I'd never use it but I guess if you think it's super amazing that your opinion. But I don't like it at all.
  6. Maybe, we have someone trying right now but if you want to make a counter GUI then we'd have a selection at least, but you certainly don't have to.
  7. Only disillusioned 9 year olds believe that there are no girls on the internet. In reality though, they hide in the deepest caverns of the forums, like, the dreaded shoutboxes.
  8. Yay :) Nice siggie btw, might steal some more as space later cause I'm greedy ;D
  9. For those that were wondering (absolutely no one but anyway ;D) here's my ad: ![](http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz180/Beckymegan/100x100ad.png) And of course it's the best ;) Who would advertise their game sucks?
  10. My (nerdy) father has both and I honestly think it's kind of a stupid argument. Most people who argue for Xbox 360s can't afford the PS3 and are then jealous. Someones gonna disagree with me but IDRC. I'm a PS3 gal but that's just because 1) Free internet 2) I like it more. Oh and btw, most people get the system they get for the games, the entire reason we got the 360 was so my sister/father could play Halo, and we got the PS3 so that they could play COD (w/o monthly fees) and Little Big Planet. So my opinion is I don't give a hoot cause I really don't think that it's a argument that will ever be settled.
  11. Hmm, I'll take a square ;) Is there anyway I can get back to you with the image/url though? And you know my game ;D
  12. Apparently the most corrupt government in Eclipse is The Colony of Gnome Loving. Needless to say I enjoy being more corrupt than the homo gay republic ;D The Issue A number of well-dressed gentlemen wearing a varied assortment of swords is insisting that they be allowed to settle their private disputes on the field of honourable battle. The Debate "We must be permitted our inherent right to defend our honour through feats of arms!" exclaims Calvin Hanover, a bewigged aristocrat sporting a particularly flamboyant swept-hilt rapier. "The right to duel is one found throughout history for the honourable settling of disputes and I must insist that my right to fight be recognised! The world would be so much better - and cheaper too - if conflicts of interest were sorted through trial by combat instead of trial by jury." "Swords? Heavens, what dreadful things. All sharp and pointy - quite dangerous, you know," says Roxanne McAlpin, an ardent pacifist. "Duelling ought to be banned! The best way to settle these kind of arguments are through trials, we all know that. If we go ahead with what these duelling nutters want then innocent people will die! It will be a sad day when people value money more than justice. Apart from lawyers, obviously." Uhhhhh…..
  13. Hey everyone! So the time has come that Beanie and I think we need a GUI made. I've made a sketch with the sizes everything needs to be made, the inventory, spells, etc. are all collapsible. If you're interested please pm me (or Beanie but preferably me) and we'll discuss design and payment*. You can find our WIP by pressing the picture in my sig or by clicking this link: [http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,73962.0.html](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,73962.0.html) *Regarding payment, Beanie and I will hopefully be able to scrape up enough ad revenue to pay you for the design :) GUI Sketch: >! ![](http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz180/Beckymegan/Guisketch.jpg)
  14. @Tahnner: > No it means my step dad changed the router password meaning i can't portforward. I only ask cause generally family doesn't hide internet passwords from their children, step kids or not.
  15. @Tahnner: > Updated original post….Also I am in need of a hoster that will gladly host the server for free....I can no longer portforward do to the fact my router now has password I can't figure out.Meaning I can't host the server myself. Does that mean the people you have been stealing internet from changed their password? And it's not illegal to space after a period.

    Updater

Reread the description of whatever updater it was. You most certainly do not need to restart. Heck, most of them have tutorials too.

  19. @S.J.R.: > The Monkey Island series by Lucas Arts, the Quake engine series by Id, the Settlers series by BlueByte, the Command & Conquer series by Westwood (and only Westwood), the Gobliins series by Coktel Vision, the Chaos Engine series by the Bitmap Brothers, Timekeepers by Vulcan Software and many more. I loved Monkey Island
  20. Pretty good, very simple. I wouldn't use the shadow/glow around the chat though.
