    Head is shaded in an interesting fashion. It appears the light source is coming from the ground, which is interesting enough on its own, but also it looks like the heads are perfect spheres.

    the main screen is alright, though the black text below the login should be white. The register window uses an awful font and is too boring, its style also doesn't match with the main menu. The credits section looks quite ugly, too much bevel and too many textures.

  12. Just google tutorials for whatever language you'll be using. It worked for me.
  13. There's two problems here: Color and contrast. They kind of go together. Right now, the value of the text is too similar to the value of the background to be readable. Similarly, the colors don't go together.

I'm not getting the ugly feel, though it could have more contrast. It wouldn't make sense for the sky to have texture, though maybe a cloud or two would make it better. Locking the topic now, sorry that you won't have chance to reply but I haven't worked on this game for a few months and don't plan on starting to again now.

  16. You changed 3 textures, added a few lines, added a picture, and changed the fonts. You didn't really change much. Critique on what you've done so far: use the same font throughout, and I'd recommend something simple but elegant like Times New Roman, Georgia, Palatino Linotype, something like that. The colors that 'gold' and 'ping' are in are pretty mediocre. The textures on the health/mana/exp bars is ugly, and the gray texture just looks silly. Use a better palette as well, black and brown aren't the greatest combo.
  17. Newer tiles are downright awful. The old grass tiles at least had some character.
