Space Ships Sprites C&C plz

A few ships I'm working on for a small project.

DO NOT STEAL

first ship

Updated see image under 2nd

2nd ship this one is facing the wrong way and i need to reorganize it first ship is facing down instead of up.

controls

Speed up = W

Slow down = S

Rotate left = A

Rotate Right = D

Exit = Esc.

touch up on ship 1 textures looks a lot better now

Do I see the same images as you? They appear as cheap, poorly shaded and colored shapes, with no style or appeal. The first one in particular, just looks like the shape of a bunny head with random noise. I also see no reason why you would have to waste so much memory by using images for 72 directions of the ship when it would be more resourceful, efficient and common-sense to code the ship's graphics to rotate.

As I have stated before the engine I am using will now allow rotation of images in real time.

also they do lose some detail when they are shrunk down into sprites. here is an example of the "bunny ear" ship before it was made into tiles

Hadn't slept for 30 hours. Anything looked fantastic at that point.
