Agoraphobic Posted February 5, 2013 Author Share Posted February 5, 2013 All nerdiness aside, I start college this summer and need a laptop for my programming/game developing classes. The thing is, I know very little about laptops and need some assistance in customizing/building a laptop (from any site, as long as it's a great laptop). I want it to be very high end; for gaming, rendering, processing power, and if possible ways to keep it from overheating.The best thing is I get reimbursed for it, so I have a budget of up to $3k to build a laptop. Video rendering or gaming^ Seriously, I need some glasses, I suggest you take a look on pcspecialist.co.uk - if you're not from the UK it doesn't matter as you can get an idea of what kind of laptop you want and it can give you a huge range of options to select from and even the prices! Then at every step it will ask you how much ram you want etc. Buy accordingly. Give them a extra 50 and they will put the whole computer together for you. That way you can get exactly the specs you want.Dont get any of those awesome looking computers.
