Sekaru, That's generally the response you should be used to now, considering how you've torn new holes in so many people. People aren't nice to you any more because of how much of a pain you are to them. I see you being unfriendly/overly sarcastic with more people than people are to you, or anybody else on this forum is.

People are going to keep being mean to you, and you're going to keep being mean to other people as a result. If you ever want people to respect you again, you're going to have to suck it up and put up with it till people see you've changed your ways.

I was joking ![:(](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png). You didn't have to be so harsh, gosh.

Although i didn't register until 3years ago I knew this forum for years! It was the previous mods and devs that set the example! The community just followed their behaviour…

Great to see someone with better judgement ![;)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png)

My post was pretty unrelated to your previous one, for the most part. You've regretfully lost the respect of a lot of members of the forum, many of whom are pushing for you to simply be wiped off Eclipse for the lesser of two ~~we~~evils. Set an example and reclaim their respect.

And if I have I wouldn't want their respect. There's a group of people I talk to on a daily basis and have great conversations with for a reason. I don't care if some kid who "can't be arsed to develop an engine because he hates most of the members on here" made a post begging for me to get banned because he's under the illusion that I'll "become the next Robin". Honestly, if there's people I insult it's with good reason most of the time and I wouldn't want to have anything to do with them in the first place. I get along with the small proportion of people who are intelligent enough to not do stupid things and not say stupid things surprisingly.

So you get along with the elite few you consider your equals, and detest upon those lesser than you… Is that right?

If so, the problem with that is that this a community, not a private elitist club.

Nope. I don't consider people as high or low on whatever scale - there's a lot of people I generally get along with because they're genuinely all-round great people.

This is offtopic> Just wanted to say, why don't you guys change the code of the spoiler tag, so if you use "spoiler=text and stuff" it will show "text and stuff" instead of "Spoiler text and stuff"?

I think it's just built in that way. : (

wweh nyeh everyones 2mean2me yes let's all be friends with everyone what a great idea because that's completely possible for everyone to love and respect everyone

in all seriousness though i think some people just won't get along sometimes and while i agree that being nice to newbies should happen, i think it's kind of unrealistic to expect everyone to be friends considering we have >2200 members.

You don't have to be friends with all the members, just treat them with kindness and respect.

I get along with anyone I get to actually know. (I'm a pretty awesome and like-able guy ![;)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png)) But I have to say I have noticed the flaming and hate towards newbs getting a lot worse over the past year or so. I'm glad you posted this thread.
