First off shaming him like that was no better than what he did in the first place and what he did was showing the newbie the harsh reality that he genuinely was being lazy and asking for a whole load of code that no one was going to ever provide. And when you first join a forum and you're faced with that, it's a damn good reason not to continue with the forum. The first handful of people to speak to a newbie is basically how that person will see the entire forum. Allowing people to react like that is not acceptable.Yes, I shouldn't have directly linked him, but I had less than a minute left before I had to go, plus I was on my phone, at work, at the time. Surprised that people are talking to me now, took me a long time of posts and topics and helping people to finally get some friends. If I think back to my Eclipse Newbie mind and use that as a medium for rating this forums it wouldn't be a kind rating.
