Anna Comnena
Yeah, I am still working on a game! :OAnyway since EE 2.7 is nice I've restarted on that, and for fun decided to try with large maps. 100x100 was way to big, but I like 50x50, and have been slowly mapping my gameworld. Here are a couple screenshots of wilderness north of the main city:![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/gfx/ee27-kjop01.jpg)![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/gfx/ee27-kjop02.jpg)Oh yeah, I'm remaking my sprites and they are not ready yet so I have the default RMXP spritesheet that comes with 2.7, also I'm able to set up a server so other people can connect, why Gwen is tagging along!:cheesy:
Drummerpete
Awesome!9/10Are they custom tiles?
Anna Comnena
Yes. Constant project with the tiles too, every time I map I find something else I forgot to tile then have to go back and redo it.
Drummerpete
Those are some of the best custom's I've seen.
Gwen
Yeah its really nice… She's put a lot of work into it!!!I cant wait to be employed again... and drive you nuts by scripting everything totally different than you envision!!! :P
Robin
Very nice! Although, the stones make my eyes funny when I look at them ;-;And that tree on the first one looks like it's being squashed at the bottom :
Bobbus
Wow! Amazing customs, great job. This game seems like it has nice potential ^^
monowolf00
@Anna:> ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/gfx/ee27-kjop02.jpg)Are you using Semi transparent tiles? The game looks good.
Anna Comnena
Yup, my water is transparent and animated. Gives it a neat shimmer effect in game, and when my fish will be placed in the map they will move around literally "under" the water.
monowolf00
very, very nice

Anna Comnena
Um… what?Ok anyway, I've started mapping on the first major city in the game, so here are a few shots of the market district:![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/gfx/ee27-market01.jpg)These two I am playing around with the ROOF attribute:![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/gfx/ee27-market02.jpg)![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/gfx/ee27-market03.jpg)And pardon the incomplete map in this one, I wanted to show my temple structure tiles off:![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/annacomnena/gfx/ee27-zeras.jpg)
Niko
Freaking awesome, Though the first one uses the same texture for the cliff as it does the house? Also the roof idea is awesome, it looks very good. The temple is god like.
Anna Comnena
Ah, well it's not a cliff but a stone causeway wall. But yes the same stone texture is used, I wanted to do a stone style but avoid the dark brick medieval type, and do more of a stone and mortar style. But a little more east where the road turns away from the hillside the stone ends and the normal cliff can be seen.
Robin
Kick-ass temple.

Particle
I don't really like how the stone looks. I just feel like it doesn't look good with the Buildings. Where you used it in nature was fine but the houses look weird with it :S
