Pets possible in VB

It is possible to make pets through Visual Basic.  But I have worked through the source and redid everything many times, but failed.  So leave it up to someone else to make it.

yes, i was making the pet in VB6, but I got too many errors, tried fixing things, and it still wouldn't work.  so I am now leaving it up to someone else.

Hmm, didn't know he did it, but I did it in 'sadscript', and like most topics like this goes always ends up:

well for something to follow you, you should look into the attack code area of it..

i noticed if you define the mob not able to hit you but you hit it… it follows you everywhere.
if you could use that and do some modifications to it then you can have your pet follow code ;)

You could make it do that, onmap load, like destroy npc, creat or something

wouldn't that create an NPC every time you loaded a map?

Wouldn't you just say in psuedocode

/summonchicken
Check if Item 6 is held
If
Destroy item 6
Create NPC num 2 at relative postion -3 (or something like that in sadscript)
Play spell num 2
End if

Possibly, but then you'd need to make it so taht the NPC would follow you. I need a follow script for Kitten Online, too :(.

it's not really as hard as that but it takes time to make it took me about a 5 month to finish it and fix all the bugs and i still have some bugs so
