Kusy
Use both, just make a transition. People tend to assume that a game can only have one tile for everything… what's wrong with having two diffrent colors of grass?

Patrick
I haven't got paint.net yet because framework is being a bitch and Photoshop isn't working either. So I'm using paint. But hopefully I'll have transparency before I do windows.Oh yeah. Update!![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/9da5c4a68397b4211dc63bf75d1999d7.bmp)I didn't do the overlay text because I'm releasing for public soon. Myron
You mean 'Weird'? And you didn't have to include the Fail. If it is that much of Fail to you then you could at least give more Details on how your majesty wants it.

balliztik1
Both lack depth. There should be at least some blades of grass that overlap the concrete. As it is, it looks really flat, whereas the outer edges, because they are isometric, look three-dimensional. Add something to show that there are blades of grass there, not just a green…blanket. Dark Crusade
Although not very professional, an amateurs trick to making things like bricks and buildings look more detailed, is to whip open a program with easy palette editing functions such as paint.net, and get a lighter and darker shade for each basic surface and scribble it on. In two minutes you can make it look better somewhat, even if not professional. Example attached.Of course, more experienced artists will more carefully pick their palette, taking into mind things like hue blending and such. And of course, they'd detail it more precisely to capture texture, shine or other detail.

Dark Crusade
@üÑÂøчġġÑâ€Ã‘‚:> Btw, I'm not going to use these because my flash isometric engine only uses exact iso not pixel iso.Your not going to detail your work? What is the difference between exact iso and pixel iso…??? No engine is going to possibly restrict you from shading or detailing any of your tiles. Patrick
Art is moreso about bringing attention to the things that need attention.![](http://www.inet2inet.com/Games_Graphics_Images_Tiles/Games_Graphics_Isometric_Urban.jpg)This looks fugging ugly, too many details maybe? Or crap art?![](http://www.nasc.fr/wp-content/gallery/pixel-art/make-pixel-not-war-v003.png)This is decent p-art here. There is parts of detail in the larger stuff and little in the smaller. Heck! The fire has two colours!![](http://www.supriyadisw.net/wp-content/uploads/pixel_art_web_2.png)Ohhhh SHI…![Here.](http://www.w2forum.com/images/uploaded/habbsc1.jpg)And last but not least. an iso pixel Game.Little detail on the walls, but more on the accessories, things people use!Oh yeah, with the tilebase, I messed up.
