Harris6310
As I am so bored waiting for EO's milestone release I thought I would try and make some graphics. Here is a transition from grass to dirt. Please tell me what you think of it. I know the tiles look horrible tiled but it's mainly the transition I want to hear from you about.![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/c52f4278c1f4385b9e4ee6a4fb3cb345.png)
Draken
i like it, just wouldnt make corners so square looking maybe try to make them a little bit more round
balliztik1
Too much shadow. It either looks like the dirt is piled atop the grass, or the grass is hovering over the dirt. Lose that thick border, and as Draken said, make it less square.
Lukin
Is that the burn tool being used in pixelart? D:Anyway, not a clean transition, as Ballie stated, the grass is hovering over the dirt.Could always try mixing the two together or just not having any shadow. It would improve it. Jeff
I agree, the shadow is too much. Just make it a little thinner.

Look up other transition tiles.. There shouldn't be shadows making them transition.. it should be more or less the grass thats blending into the dirt. Harris6310
Updated it a bit, started using new colours. What do you think?![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/6732d183b35af5fb1e3e857cd044339d.png)
ddunit
Bit better, still looks like it's hovering though.
Anna Comnena
There no good blending between the grass and the blended zone. Try going around the edge with a dark brown or dark green pencil and do a very thin dither line along that divide (grass to "shadow" color).
