….seriously? They paid someone to write this "insightful" article?

Yea that guide is just sad.

A dungeon (everyone just calls it a instance) is basically a area that when you enter it creates a new zone just for you and your party. So basically 1000 people can be running the same instance and you will only see the other 4 people you are with. So its basically a special zone. Hard to explain.

A dungeon or an Instance, is just a room filled with elite mobs who kill on sight. Its a fast and easy way to lvl once you hit lvl15 in the game. You have your tank(sheild), 3DPS (swords), and a healer(heal sign looks like a 4point star) if you are in a raid, then the dungeon is actually much bigger than normal ones.

Ok… so i think i got it... a dungeon is full of umm NPCs right?  those are attackable enemies right? But since i have to go on a raid to get to a dungeon i can only raid if im in a guild right? Do i have to have a tank to get in the dungeon?

If your a clothy, Mage, Lock, Priest, etc, then tanks would be nice to have with you. Leather ppls aren't too bad, those who can wear mail and plate can usually tank an instance by themselves. BUT you dont have to be in a raid to get into a dungeon, theres a knifty little dungeon finder, you can use at lvl15

There really isnt, but if you ask others for help, a lot actually do help those in need.

Tanks: Pallys, Warriors, Death Knight's, Druids
DPS: all else except disc/holy priests, resto druids, holy pallys
Heals: dic/holy priests, resto druids, and holy pallys(best for tank heals only)

Those are really the basics you can get, I'm on 3 different servers, and I can help where needed. Just find my characters listed in this fourm: http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,63234.msg673963/topicseen.html#new

On any of those servers, I can help if youd like. I'm still low lvl on those characters, so none are 80 yet. But I dont play like 24/7 like most ppl actually do. I spend time with my 2yr old.
