First off Fluoride being put in the water and its effects are not a Conspiracy. It's proven fact that it is being put in the water and the effects of Fluoride are real. They even admit its in the water.

Yes it's in the water, but do you know how much you'd have to consume at once in order for anything horrible to happen?

A lot, flouride, like most poisons, is filtered out, they put it in for the teeth, the rest is filtered and peed out, nothing bad happens.

So stop thinking OMG FLOURIDE WE GUNNA DIE!

It's bullshit preying on paranoid people like you!

First off, do you even know the levels of Fluoride in major city's in the US? They are planning on putting more Fluoride in the water. Do you happen to think why most European country's don't have Fluoride in their water? Dude, do some research before you post.

If you want to prove that it doesn't effect you like this? Give me proof not just you saying its ''Bullshit''. To prove a point provide information on your point in order for it to be accepted. Not stuff like its not dangerous cause I said so. :)

give me proof people have died from drinking tap water.

Also flouride is good for teeth thats why it's in the water, at least that's what I have always figured. If it was as big of a deal as you faggots make it out to be then there'd be uber uprising,

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!
Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes…
The dead rising from the grave!
Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

Wheres your proof? As far as I have seen there is more proof that this is true then it is false? Also, are you implying that if someone believes in a conspiracy they are crazy? If that were true then why are there laws against conspiring of all sorts? If you look back at history you will find that there have been many conspiracies that have taken place and succeeded, the Nazi Regime is a great example, but nah conspiracies are just another word for crazy right?

Sounds like you were stating this is all part of the "End Times" to me. Is this not what you are stating?

This sounds uneducated simply because it has nothing to do with this topic and if it does you did not explain why(as well as your post before with "LUL WUT" which made absolutely no sense).

Anyways I am not going to argue with you seeing how we a hijacking this thread.

Anyways I would like some proof from the nay sayers simply because there has been more proof from the ones who believe.

So wait…
I (and my professor, it seems) am a conspiracy loony, for writing a paper citing legitimate sources, some from the government themselves, saying that fluoride is indeed bad for you?
I mean, if you want an acid-fertilizer byproduct in your drinking water, by all means take the koolaid; I'm just curious as to why nobody counters my paper or targets my sources, rather than simply insulting me.

EDIT: I suppose the guys at [Health-Science](http://www.health-science.com/fluoride_toxicity.html) are also loonies.. OH, and the New England Journal of Medicine, who [criticized public water fluoridation](http://www.fluoridation.com/poison.htm).. You're calling them conspiracy loonies as well, correct?

@Sputnak:

> Wtf… flouride isn't poison there's a town somewhere with a waterfall that they drink from. The water has loads of flouride in it. They have brown spots on their teeth because of it, and their teeth are uber strength. Those are the only side-affects of flouride. It won't make you go  :lipsrsealed:

I'd love to hear about this town; any link?  I'm curious to see what their average lifespan is, and what their current psyche is like.
As far as strong teeth, it's interesting; according to [some studies](http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/healthy-living/is-fluoride-safe-780948.html), tooth decay is usually increased in areas which are fluoridated, as opposed to places where the fluoride as ceased, the tooth decay has also ceased.

Can I have a link to this as well?
Because [according to this article](http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/814774-overview), the toxic dose of fluoride is 5-10 mg.
I just did a quick check in my state (you can check [here](http://thyroid.about.com/library/articles/blfluoridefinder.htm), in the US) is 1 mg per litre.
So wait, if I were to drink 5 litres of tap water (a little over a gallon of water), that would mean I've exposed myself to a toxic dose.

For everyone that says fluoride is good for you, I challenge you to swallow your mouthwash next time you get some.
Or mix some mouthwash in with your daily cup of water, and drink it up; please ignore the warnings that say, "Do not swallow", after all, your body filters it out.

…right?

Ohhh wait... No... you don't pee it out, actually it gets into your blood stream, combines with aluminum and create
Aluminum Fluoride, which then can collect in your brain causing Alzheimer’s, dementia, and God knows what else.

Comon pryex, I thought you were a man of science; someone who claimed to be open minded, and follows the evidence, yet in situations like this, you bluntly deny the evidence and play the same "no you!" card religious people play; that is, simply just babbling on about how stupid the opposing argument is, keeping a closed mind (and blocking out) any evidence that says otherwise.

Though this was due to a fluoride spill, [this guy](http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/accidents/annapolis.html), any and quite a few others, have died directly because they drank a cup of tap water, with too much fluoride.
Of course, if you're looking for some more recent deaths (including elk that had a shortened lifespan from drinking water with fluoride in it), you're welcomed to check some [other](http://searchwarp.com/swa370917.htm) cases we have, ranging from a person committing suicide by injecting toothpaste, to a three-year-old dying from getting a fluoride treatment from the dentist – that would suck if it was your kid, wouldn't it?

@Soul:

> Anyway, even if there is fluoride in the water, I doubt it's enough to harm you if it even does harm you.

Check where you live, and check how much is in your water; then make sure you don't drink more than 5mg of it :)

Once again, it depends where you live to the amount of Fluoride you are exposed to. You may not realize it has effected you but it has in some way or form.
