Damn girl, I'm laughing at how discouraged you get in 5 seconds. You shouldn't do that. Just keep trying, its not like they're saying "GOT DAMN YOU FUCKIN SUCK ASS WOW".

I'd probably have to say that what you have there is good for a beginner, but you should try to make the lines less crooked.

It's not like I can do much better anyways ![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/e94ef35f0fdd08c72a92da0ec2bc3335.png)

Don't use a mouse. Apart from pixel art it's completely useless.

Keep practising on paper. Try and get access to a scanner or good quality camera so you can upload your images. Ignore colouring for now and concentrate on getting line art and anatomy down.

If you're serious about drawing then join some communities. DeviantArt is a good site, so keep uploading stuff there. Get in touch with some artists you look up to and ask for pointers.

Also; Don't worry about being bad. Your ship shows you have a much better understanding of perspective than most people I know which is hugely important when it comes to this type of art. Your people look… well, really shit. That's simply down to inexperience.

Go read up on colour theory. Take part in fun competitions and community work. Get yourself known. Above everything else just keep doing different things. There's no point re-doing the same pose over and over again trying to get it just right. Then you'll be very good at drawing a single image and won't be able to do anything else. Once you understand how everything breaks down in to shapes then it'll all start making sense.

Keep working hard at something and you'll get good at it. Hell, here's 7 years experience coming to fruition for me;

I suggest making a sketchbook on one of the following Art Community forums, they will help you out a ton. DeviantArt isn't that great because people only view the really proffessional work or furries, at the other ones it's usually the professionals helping you out:
