Abyss
Hmm. I don't know any programming languages. I do however speak the language of love, Si! Si! Il vostro gnocchi è liscio comme il burro señorita.Talk to me if you want to woo the ladies
Colonello
There's plenty of great programmers here. It's kind of impossible to know who's truly "the best". Take a look around the Talent Center and check out the reviews. You should be able to find someone who can help with whatever you need done! :)
Helladen
Yeah the best is subject to opinion. Most of the best programmers aren't posting that often here, they keep a low-profile.

YourBestNightmare
Best VB6 programmer here? I vote for Seth or JC, but if you are talking about "real" languages, then Panda or Marsh.
BeNjO
Thanks Fabzy <3 and i agree with Fabzy's choices my self (minus my self ofc)I'd have to say Marsh, He's just an all round decent bloke. Second choice, I'd actually choose Sherwin as he's gone some leg work for me in the past. Not saying Jaxx isn't good, But not going to sit and list everyone xD@YBN "Real" being what languages? Matt
> Best VB6 programmer here? I vote for Seth or JC, but if you are talking about "real" languages, then Panda or Marsh.I might be wrong, but I wouldn't say that proficiency is the same as being a good programmer. Personally, I always figured that being a good programmer meant more to do with a problem-solving mindset of being able to produce quality work with what you're given, ability to work well with other developers, realizing that there are multiple ways to tackle an issue, and having the mentality that you aren't the best programmer. Those who declare themselves to be the best programmer might be extremely proficient, but will almost always not actually be the best programmer. BeNjO
The above is true, Too many "I can" and not so much being produced. Allot of wannabes to be fair.

BeNjO
Just look at the current work going on around here. By far Sky's Engine (Jaxx's) is THE most popular engine on here with the most help / fixes. Kind of says something. Base your judgement of peoples current work/projects/engines and make up your own mind to whom you deem top.
Lavos
It takes a programmer himself to know one. On my days of spending time here trying to learn how the Eclipse MMORPG engine was made, I've studied techniques from other people that I've learned from. In experience, Origins was Introduced by Robin Perris hence my Introduction to VB6\. Then later sought help from the forum boards and found various people that helped me out. (2Pac, Jcnider, **[**_JeffSventora_**](http://www.eclipseorigins.com/user-32641.html)** , Damian666, DMF, **[**_BoDu_**](http://www.eclipseorigins.com/user-1661.html)** , **[**_Yxxe_**](http://www.eclipseorigins.com/user-20598.html)** **[santa-clause](http://www.eclipseorigins.com/user-38621.html)** , **[**_Stach_**](http://www.eclipseorigins.com/user-3049.html)** , [boyesjs03](http://www.eclipseorigins.com/user-44982.html), Ahbi and Mellowz) then comes the notorious group where I've learned a great deal from (DeathBeam you know who you are lol, Mark Morris, DFA, Custom, Musbah, and Andrew.) Though not everyone on this list will agree… ahem, but aside from the backstory and differences. These people have one thing in common... They all will not take you seriously if you aren't serious with what you are asking… happy posting people! P.s. instead of the topic, try thinking about the community.
