Joyce
That's odd, it's hosted on the filehost so it really shouldn't be gone. o_ OEDIT: http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/ccs_files/file_host/b0ce75b2728a73765fc9458e5afd863e.zip

tslusny
With kill you can delete only files and not folders, correct me if i am wrong
Jimmy93
What command should i use to delete folders then?
abhi2011
Use```If FileExist(App.Path & "\" & ClientName) Then Kill (App.Path & "\data files\maps\" & "*.map") Shell App.Path & "\" & ClientName, vbNormalFocus Else```It will work. I tested it. And Deathbeam you were right it wouldn't delete the folder it would throw the file not found error. I am not sure why the error because the file existed. Oh well. abhi2011
Oh that explains it. Kill is used for files. KillFolder is for deleting a folder.[http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.asp?ID=1155](http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.asp?ID=1155)

Joyce
Your host either doesn't support .txt files, or News.txt doesn't exist. In case of the first issue, change the .txt reference and the file to whatever would work.. And in the second case, well.. Put the file there ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png)
abhi2011
Shouldn't it be .html files?
Joyce
Well, it could be done with a *.html extension. It doesn't matter what extension it has so long as the contents of the file are correct, and the launcher looks for it and your host supports that format. Jimmy93
How do i make it so it adds .dll files?(on patching) not same folder
abhi2011
I don't think that would be possible unless it is extracted to either C:\ and the game is on a predertmined location for patches to be added and dll to be added. And the Dll will not be registered.

clark
Sometimes launching the client make :**Eclipse Advanced has stopped functionning**and sometimes :**[background=rgb(237, 239, 244)]"An unexpected error has occured: Type incompatible It is likely that your configuration is incorrect"Edit: Btw how can i do updates be version0.1 ? i want it to write[Updater]Version= 0.1 [/background]**
abhi2011
Updates aren't in decimal. There are integers. As for the first error try debugging using the debug feature. [config.in/debug = 1]New update number(##.rar) must be the same as the latest update number.
clark
Ok , and what does the debug = 1 ? ^^
abhi2011
In ur players game config.ini there is an option debug. Set it's value = 1\. If there is an error most probs it will be recorded in data files\log
