Heavy Cat Studios is a professional animation house based in Southern California near Los Angeles. We have been in business since 2007 and our parent company has been in business since 1996\. We have developed or co-developed 29 games and apps on mobile devices, Flash and the Steam platform. We have 44 creative professionals including a tremendous production team from Palace in the Sky Productions LLC, artists, animators, writers and voice actors. We do up to 50 client projects a year.

We price graphics by the page and sound by the minute. Color production art is $500 a page (up to 2000x2000 pixels total, 35 pencil drops per page). Voice is $200 a minute. Sound mix is $400 a minute. Sprites are between $5 and $9 a frame. Other prices are available on our site.

Although the work is great; your prices are outrageous for this community. I'm sure companies like your prices but this is a website which offers a full free 2d mmorpg engine. No one here has the money to spend 5$ per frame for 1 sprites of 16 frames. Thats 80$ for 1 sprite for the low end of your price range.

These arnt compagnies these are people. Most of which are students in highschool or college with an income of 0$ to 200$ a week from a part time job.

I do not doubt the work, in fact it looks good. But this may be the wrong place to look for customers.

You guys could of atleast made a special price for us because of budget restraints or even better:

Sell a mega sprite pack to the community and we all buy it by pitching some money. The graphics will become availible to all members of this community.

Your concept art is great, but the pixel art you've shown off is awful. Practically half this community can do better then that, and they definately wouldn't charge nearly that much.

Agreed. Your art is great, pixel art aside, but you're in the wrong place. Eclipse is full of 12 year old's begging from their mothers' coin purses. You won't find any sort of customer base here, unfortunately.

prices are too high for this kind of site. i agree as above you probably wont get many customers here. some of its ok looking work. but not exactly something i pay that kind of prices. infact if we hired a Artist with drawing skills , they probably make these kinds of stuff for less.

(hint: lower prices bigger orders and more people. = cash flow. big prices +low to little people= barely any cash flow.)

No, those prices are spot on, really. It's just as I said, that they're inappropriate for eclipse, as the member-base here is too young or inexperienced/immature.
